You won't have an issue. As you pointed out...you should have been stamped in till about Nov 21. I would apply for my next extension say Nov 20. Applying couple of weeks prior to your Dec 3 permit expiry stamp is normal. The example given by someone of 90 given at entry instead of 30 is serious and would most likely result in overstay even though it was io error.

They were due to end issue on Sept 27 (or 26). Then it was announced that they will be continued to be issued until Nov 27. You permit expires Dec 3. Apply say Nov 25 and you will be given another 60 days from Dec 3. Great your home free till ~Feb 3. Hopefully by then some land borders might be open and no quarantine.

Non-O Extension Thai Wife, 5th year
DrJack54 replied to walailak's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That's a pain. As mentioned, there is small photocopy/print, photo joint same level as banks. Cheap and quick. -
Never works for me. Of course if dates sometimes match in the timeframe then report and extension can be done at same trip. I suggest that you just do your 90 report as if extension was not even due. Unrelated....but the smile never hurts. At my last extension I made comment that the io had all items such as stapler etc etc all the same color coordinated. Not funny but she found it hilarious. She proceeded to fill out those "extra forms" for me and I just signed.

Question regarding Netflix. So have been watching YouTube using my phone as hotspot to my TV. All good no issues. Limited content. So friend of my gf has Netflix subscription. Apparently it has 4 available 'connections'. She gave the account and password to my gf. Anyway I told her that it won't work in our condo. However have been watching Netflix for last few days. No issue. Normal?

DrJack54 replied to Gee Bangkok's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Just to be clear, many people do not have a TM30 and live in Thailand. -
Non-O Extension Thai Wife, 5th year
DrJack54 replied to walailak's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Think I have been lucky with Kasikorn. When I attend bank I give clerk 100baht for bank letter and 100for deposit into account to show 'activity'. I ask the lady if possible to photocopy last transaction page to show this deposit. They do that free (unless recent change). -

Retirement using 65k monthly pension
DrJack54 replied to hounddog's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP, personally for this first extension I would use money in bank method. The 400k would need to be in bank for 2 months on day of application. It remains in bank during under consideration period~ a month. Then you can use it. At the same time I would start my monthly transfers of 40k, with the view of using that method for following extension (end of 2022). -

90 day report online is working ?
DrJack54 replied to Monkeyrobot's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
In person up to 7 days after due. Online up to due date. Why continue with online. If not working for you then forget it. Go in person. Also why go after it's due. -

Non-O (Retirement) available in USA?
DrJack54 replied to trav2021's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
@trav2021.......you have good advice above. 1. Obtain full vaccination in USA. 2. Enter visa exempt. 3. Use agent to open bank account. Couple of reports of satisfaction with Siam Legal. Plenty of other agents available. 4. Use Wise to transfer 800k from your bank in USA to your new Thai bank. Simple. Just check with your USA bank things such as daily limits etc.. 5. Apply for your non O retirement at immigration with 800k in Thai bank day you apply. You then have 90day stay 6. When money has been in bank for 2 months apply for your 12 extension. Happy days. Note: be proactive with organizing your bank account.
