Expat68 replied to kidneyw's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I never use online reporting, I think if they see you face to face over several years it is the best way, never see you in person is asking for trouble. JMHO -

What is (or was) your profession or occupation?
Expat68 replied to Paulaew's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I worked in the printing business for 34 years. Started as a hot metal compositor (placing single metal characters in what was known as a stick) you will see these in museums now, not many of us left now I think????Then moved on to was called a paste up artist, (producing magazines and books) this was placing film on another slightly thicker piece of film (the end product was a positive or negative piece of film) My next step was Desk Top Publishing (mostly magazines) the ladies on this site may have heard of them, Living, She, Options, Women's Realm etc. Planner/Platemaker was my final step (similar to Paste up Artist) producing 32/64 pages in Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow of thin aluminium which wraps around the rollers of the Printing Press -

Expat68 replied to Grecian's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I would not call friends, have some but many acquaintances, have friends from my home country who have also moved to Thailand. I did not come to Thailand to make new western friends -

Yes. Sometimes it increases 30% per year, another year it goes down 15%, once it went down 40%, another it increased 50%. JMHO (not expert) ethical funds are the way to go -

I just go to a smart lab yearly, not fool proof but it gives a warning if the blood test results are abnormal, ie PSA, colon, etc.

I just treat them as any other, look right, then left and right again
