  13. Doubt they fill a return in, each year they look at me with total confusion but get there in the end
  14. Each year I go to my local tax office (I have a tax I'd number) for the return of tax on my savings never once have I been asked to fill in a tax return

  17. There is a bus from DMK, A1 number I think. Cost 20 baht
  18. My friend has just come back from there, visiting Thailand on the way home to blighty. He found travelling around the Philippines very difficult (he has been before) he said Thailand was very easy, also outside the major cities WiFi was not very good and to him the place has not recovered from Covid. Just quoting what he has told me
  19. The reason why I live in Thailand is because 33 years ago I fell in love with Thailand and today I am still in love with the place. We all live/visit the place for one reason or another. Just embrace it and feel lucky
  20. Nong Kai. Quieter than Udon but pleasant place to stay on the banks of the Mekong.
  21. Better off avoiding all tourist areas. My friend who is currently on tour in Thailand only yesterday turned round to me and said the women where you live are different from Pattaya, to which I replied that they have not been tarnished by the westerners
  22. If it does happen!! Pattaya will probably the most affected
