Do the math. A 5% beer at 620 mL contains 31 mL of ethanol. Cost 60 baht. A 700 mL bottle of Sangsom at 40% ethanol contains 280 mL of ethanol. Cost 286 baht. One is paying approximately 2 baht/mL of ethanol if they imbibe beer, and 1 baht/mL with Sangsom.

A 5% beer has a density of 0.9895 g/mL, so it's a 1% difference. Beer is the worst possible choice in terms of carbohydrate load, which is why the term beer gut evolved. The OP would be better off drinking Sangsom, less expensive for alcohol content as well.

It gets even better for criminals. There's a checkpoint on the main highway near my GF's village. It is manned by police in the morning. At 12 noon, they shut up shop. I've never seen a cop there in the afternoon or evening. -
I only click on topics started by bignok and bob smith ( Identical twins? ) when I am in a masochistic mood. They rarely disappoint me.

Trump will continue to cast himself as the victim, and his gullible supporters will be blind to the truth. It's possible his only source of income will be donations from them, as I would be betting the $250 million in penalties Fani Willis seeks is the low-ball figure. After all the time he spent on his golf courses during his Presidency, it would be ironic if she seizes them first.

Natural gas is mostly CH4 and C2H8, burning it still produces carbon dioxide. Less than burning coal, admittedly. You think natural gas comes out of the ground as pure methane and ethane? Here's a news flash - natural gas at the wellhead contains up to 30% carbon dioxide, which has to be separated. Damn straight it doesn't get pumped back in, it's another emission no-one wants to admit to. Pretending natural gas is a cleaner fuel is more palatable. Electricity worldwide averages 70% coming from fossil fuels. Virtue signaling can commence when it is less than 10%.

I have yet to see Thai police do anything outside manning checkpoints and positioning themselves near markets for scooter riders without helmets. When they are on the road, they are going somewhere. I have never seen a police officer booking someone on the open road. -
3 or 4 days should be enough, Pai and Mae Hong Son are worth seeing, Mae Sariang and Hot less so.

I drive a scooter and a car here. Without an accident for 12 years. The key to driving here is to be defensive, and constantly assess potential threats. To be quite blunt about it, I regard cyclists as temporary road occupants. While I extend them road courtesy, IMO they simply don't have the acceleration to take themselves out of harm's way. I would as soon get on a bicycle as I would eat uncooked bamboo, or red kidney beans. -
Best solution for enlarged prostate that blocks urinating
Lacessit replied to Steven55's topic in Health and Medicine
I asked my urologist whether I should have a TURP., based on having an obstructive prostate. His response was to stay with the medication as long as possible. According to him, the Rezum treatment is no better than a TURP. The risk of impotence, incontinence and retrograde ejaculation he put at 80-90%. As he has about 20 years surgical experience, with the qualifications FRCS/FRACS after his name, I am more inclined to accept his opinion than yours. -

Why should I get bothered by what people address me as here? I am better educated and more financially secure than the majority of Thais. -
Snakes and scorpions are part of the rural Thai diet. I'd say the mosquitoes would get more protein from you than you would from them.

After a few days of mosquitoes, leeches, snakes and scorpions I suspect your mindset will be different.

Trump liable for fraud, judge finds in New York civil case

Yeah, like more than half a dozen business bankruptcies do. I have to admit he's good at extracting donations from people whose IQ's fall in the idiot, moron and imbecile ranges. -
In a former Windows life, I had a different email address. There's a guy in Surfers' Paradise, Australia, who has come up with a program which detects whether one's data has been breached. Scammers usually begin with the email address, and build a profile from there. When I put in my former email address, his software informed me I had had 32 data breaches. With my current email, and MX Linux, my data breach count is zero.

I recently bought a new laptop here, and the staff at the shop looked blank when I asked if they could install Linux as the OS. Apparently they are only familiar with Macs or Windows.

Said YouTuber is not anti-EV, he is simply pointing out some of the myths that surround EV's. Such as the twaddle EV owners are saving the planet. He has been a motoring journalist for many years, with a strong background in science and engineering. Shooting the messenger is no solution. What you say about the frequency of EV fires is quite true. However, it is the intensity and toxicity of combustion products emanating from an EV battery fire which makes them several orders of magnitude more dangerous. Fire-fighting crews can extinguish an ICE fire without much difficulty. Gasoline or diesel needs oxygen to burn. They can't smother an EV fire, as it has its own oxygen supply in the battery chemistry.
