Yep, lots of crazies around these days. I made a comment yesterday regarding the ATM that got beaten up (smashed to pieces). It's those steroid tourists that have been arriving since borders reopened. These are angry guys.

It's swings and roundabouts. I'm not against renting but I am pro buying. I bought my first house in Pattaya 2001, still got it. The housing estate runs at around 25k baht per month for a rental similar size. I've spent several million baht on renovations over the years and the property has probably doubled in price (location, location, location) so I'm well ahead. Saved a fortune and have no concerns about landlord evictions etc. I'm happy to hear that you enjoy renting if it's worked well for you.

I'm same as above. No need for a freezer just get yourself a second fridge/freezer. I've got mine out the back, I fill with a few beers and the Mrs puts some of her food in it. The freezer is OK size for more frozen stuff. Food is cheap enough in Thailand, I wouldn't buy a freezer just to fill it with food.

How much do they charge at Jomtien for a beach chair these days?

On an electrical fire? What would you use to extinguish an electrical car fire in Thailand parking lot? I know it's not recommended but I would think the only option other than water is sand if available or smother the fire with a blanket or similar.

Yes, it's great, I like the hurdles and challenges, it keeps the foreign numbers down. If they made things easy all the foreigners would be here, Thailand would end up with the same problems we left our home countries for, I don't want to live in Australia or Europe, I love Thailand and all it has to offer. A little bit of inconvenience for a hell of a lot of pleasure. Like I said earlier, I use an agent to avoid these issues, I pay a little bit of money for the convenience.

Yeah, it's probably been to every Somchai mechanic workshops in the area. Somchai's workmanship is questionable at times, probably faulty wiring circuit (not fused) caused the fire.

Agree, it's hot and cold. I'm fed up with the inconsistancies. Since covid I've been paying an agent a little bit of money to manage the bloody mess. They do my 90 day stuff to. A little bit of money to pay for the anxiety relief, you never know what challenges the IO throws at you when you're not expecting it.

The ladies I prefer the petite ladies, bloody beautiful, can't get enough of them. The women back home are getting bigger and bigger. It's quite strange the females are getting more and more masculine and the males are becoming more feminine. What's going on, so lucky to live in this wonderful land........Thailand.
