On August 8, at approximately 16:25 , the Maha Sarakham Command Centre received a report of a traffic accident involving a van and a buffalo in front of Ban Sra Khaen Health Center, Rat Phatthana Subdistrict, Phayakkhaphum Phisai District, Maha Sarakham Province.
The Phayakkhaphum Rescue Team responded to the scene and found three individuals with minor injuries, including abrasions. The rescue team provided first aid before transporting the injured to Phayakkhaphum Phisai Hospital.
Then at around 16:45, another incident occurred at the same location, when a pickup truck collided with an ambulance that had its emergency lights on while parked to manage traffic following the first accident.
The impact caused the ambulance to lose crash into a tow truck and subsequently landing in the median strip. This secondary accident resulted in one person sustaining minor injuries.
Sorry, I misinterpreted the top photo incorrectly as it must have been taken from the position of the smashed van.
The Silver minibus (van) driving on it's own side of the two lane road, hit poor buffalo. It is not shown in the top photo, but is in the second, and what a mess.
THEN there was another ambulance, which assumed traffic management duties, but in front of that was a tow truck into which Ambulance No 2 collided and ran off the road. All the rescue vehicles were on the 'wrong side' of the road, with lights flashing.
How did the pick-up truck hit them?
Why did they not tear a few branches off nearby trees and put them either side of the accident? 555
