    Thanks, I had read this article. So it is a DISCOUNT on the bill, not a rebate. I shall know on 17th Sept when my bill comes, but will it be 50/50 ie last half of August at old rate vs from 1st Sept = new rate? Who knows?

    Do you really have to 'reprogram' your TV after plugging it out, or a power cut. Mine doesn't need it, it comes back on exactly as it was.

    But how long does it take to save you Bht 399 on each appliance on which one is used? You say your house is controlled by them, and then you have ordered two to try. Get it right before posting please.

    I was playing in a club in Freiburg, Germany where the owner was a BIG Elvis fan and had a half-hour of his songs every night. We got three nights off, paid in full.

    In the good old days, we would take the rotor arm out of the distributer. I think all cars have immobilisers these days, but to be on the safe side, drain all the fuel out of the tank and get a steering wheel lock. If you did fit a GPS thingy and saw, from your distant home, that the car had moved, what would you do. A bit like the folks who go on holiday and have their front door camera viewable on their phone.

    I had a memory foam mattress, but it developed Alzeheimers! 555 No seriously, what does Memory Foam actually do? Does it stay in the shape it was when you turned over or got up, or does it go back to it's original shape, in which case it is 'no memory'.

    Surely a 'household' mattress is used every day whereas a 'hotel' quality is possibly used only 3 or 4 nights a week.
