🤣🤣 T H E B A T T E R I E S A R E D I F F E R E NT. Go away and read or watch something, maybe you will learn something. Just like your beloved ice, where oils ain’t oils, ev batteries are different to your 18v power tools, scooter, mobile phone, tv remote, duracell etc.
-
Because the actual owners of Chinese ev think they are good quality and are better priced and often better spec’d than European/yank ev. They also seem to be readily available in Thailand.
-
Amazing…
-
Toddle off and read a little about battery tech in ev and you’ll see that it is quite different than your scooter and mobile phone. Just to help you out a little, no ev don't not run on nicads.
-
So it’s like the vacuume assisted brake systems that we grew up with. If the ice engine dies you need to push the pedal harder, I’ll try to remember that.
-
I don’t know where you get your numbers from, they seem like fools gold to me..
-
I don’t have much self importance personally, I’m more interested in truth, you should try it sometime…
-
I guess we’ll just have wait and see how that pans out won’t we.
-
I’m glad you’re 1000km away
-
I don’t have a problem with anyone’s opinions. I do struggle with obtuse commentary and general water muddying. Some would say you excel at both but you did let yourself down with your earlier post…
-
I certainly wouldn’t expect you to stop posting on my behalf. It would be nice if you stopped posting crappola, but that’s up to you…
-
To be honest, I find your postings deliberately uninformed and provocative and loaded with diversionary misinformation so I normally just scroll on by but when I see you blatantly posting <deleted> I’ll continue to call you out. Probably best if you can find a niche I know nothing about.
-
I’ve been around for a while and while I certainly don’t “follow” your particular line of dribble, it does at least seem to be consistent and that’s always a nice thing 👍🏼
-
I’m just asking questions… I don’t know how ev brakes work, from what you’re saying they are not mechanical like an ice vehicle they must be some sort of battery actuated system… that IS what you’re saying isn’t it ? Youre not being obtuse now are you ?
-
So you’re telling us that that ev have battery actuated braking systems ?
-
I’ve never seen you write something reasonable and objective before, are you ok or have you been hacked ?
-
No Mr uninformed, they do not share the same battery technology. Stop repeating stupidity for the sake of it.
-
Ahh, brake failure 👍🏼 you didn’t say it was in Thailand.
-
Does the same notification stop you from applying the brakes in an ev ?
-
Are you saying that ice vehicles don’t have electrical faults ? Or are you saying that ev don’t have a mechanical action brake ? What are you saying…? 🤷🏼♂️
-
Your quote of mine refers to poster Rampant Rabbits demand that evs needed to have 1000km range, my point was that very few vehicles ev or ice have 1000km range. When I purchased the Prado it was to be a daily drive for my wife and our two kids but also my tow vehicle for me and my fishing boat, the vehicle just happened to come with 180lt fuel capacity.

You’ve had 1 owner respond. You've had 3 and now me who don’t own an ev, let alone a Chinese one. The owners I’ve read comments from have been very happy with their vehicles, most seem pretty open minded and not evangelical. Scooter and mobile phone batteries are not used in ev, different chemistry, different performance. I did own a Toyota Prado that could do 1000km on a tank (actually, main and aux tanks but factory standard) of diesel, 180lts, no other vehicle I’ve owned goes remotely close to 1000km. My 2021 diesel HiAce can get 650km fully loaded if I drive gently though. Something above that I do agree with is that we won’t really know how long they last until they don’t… that said I’d expect 3-5 yrs of trouble free motoring. Personally, I’d buy.
