  1. I even logged into my account, they don't make it easy to contact them
  2. I tried searching their site I cant see any links and their customer service is not very good, unlike Airbnb they give you a link to look at, https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/3290
  3. You can use Airbnb and set the minimum stay to 30 days, and if you do MTR or LTR then the tenant pays all the bills but you have to state that in your listing details and make the tenant aware from the beginning, then add a security deposit normally 2 months upfront,
  4. If you are thinking to buy a apartment it has to be something unique, too many of these condo's are just like boxes nothing to give you the WOW factor. I have looked at a few units in Rawai, they do nothing for me, Another thing to consider is the size of the unit guest on airbnb like some space,
  5. We never do, we have to make up our own story,
  6. I can only speak for Phuket, people do get arrested and banged up, the police had quite a few check points around, Last year I know a guy (Thai) got stopped one night in Chalong he was over the limit he had a choice pay 40,000 baht at the roadside or go to jail and court in the morning, he said he will go to court in the morning, he got fined 5000 baht,
  7. How about reducing tax on cheese? to go with my wine,
  8. I cant say Ive read to many Russian novels but I did read that on back in the day The Gulag Archipelago and a couple of others,
  9. No problem I have my Thai family and friends and a few Ladyboys
  10. Okay they reduce the tax but will they reduce the price? I think not
  11. I don't have a one Farang friend I don't need them and don't want one, I have a great wife and fairly big family and they are all good to me never has one asked for money, quite the opposite when they come to visit us here in Phuket they never come empty handed.
  12. I always used to say that "Been here for two weeks" and speak German
  13. You can as a neighbour complain to Airbnb if that's where the guest are coming from, I guess it would be difficult to knw which platform they used there is so many, Did you take a look on Airbnb to see if units similar to your are listed?
  14. I think here in this post we are talking about Russians in Phuket and Pattaya, I have been told from a well connected Thai it's even worse in Chiang Mai, but not just Russians also the Chinese, my friend told me they have built Chinese schools up there,
  15. There is a village in Holland missing its idiot!
  16. Dont forget Agoda dont just do hotels they now do villas and apartments just like Airbnb https://www.agoda.com/villas/?cid=1844104&ds=i9nSVfeeTtRPeiiE
  17. No mention of a hotel in Hua Hin unless they have sold it,
  18. I think booking.com has to be the worst, 10 days after the guest has checked out,
  19. Did you book through the owner direct or through a online platform like booking.com?
  20. It's a big problem with the OTA industry the price advertised is not always the price you pay, most of these sites allow the Host to add additional fee's and you as the guest are not aware until you book, To some of the major hotel groups it's what they call up selling check out some of the mad things they will charge extra for like Valet parking, In the last 12 months Airbnb have tried to address this problem so before you book you are aware of any additional fee's not added afterwards, The biggest problem I have seen over the year many guest do not read the full listing and what additional cost, such as cleaning fee, pet fee, electricity not included,
  21. Booking.com
