Good everything worked out. When living in Bangkok I had health insurance from my previous job. It was rolled over when I retired. It covers me domestically and I internationally. And I pay for it but it’s a special rate. Because my previous employer pays a portion of it. With the cost of medical procedures and visits. I personally would not risk not having health insurance. Either living domestically or internationally.

To the OP. You didn’t provide enough information. But you should google something like airline compensation or something like that from that country. And get official rules and regulations regarding airline compensation from the country of origin. Then see if there is any compensation at all according to the circumstances involved. Not all circumstances are entitled to compensation. Here you are mostly going to get opinions. You need official information.

If a toilet says it’s for women only then that’s who it’s for. Men have no business being in there. A man might be able to get away with that in Thailand. You might get away with that in the countryside. But if you did it in a major mall there would probably be an issue.

I’m 68 years old. People think I’m younger. But it usually has to do with genetics and how a person takes care of themselves.

When I lived in Thailand up until recently. I lived one year in On Nut. The last two years CBD. Near Terminal 21. I personally like the city vibe and convenience . But when it was too crowded it did get annoying at times. I left Thailand because I couldn’t see myself living there long term.

Sorry I can’t give you a definitive answer. But it’s a crap shoot. Doing any number of visa runs can potentially cause an issue with immigration. In any country an immigration officer might question it. Including Thailand.
