Thailand doesnt need to take sides but a voice of responsibility outlawing invasions of other countries and the actions of murderess regimes would be a responsible approach. Even if they repeatably voiced that dialogue and not war was a their more favourable approach instead of supporting rogue leaders.

Myanmars Junta's recent pease accord anniversary with the following foriegn attendees and after just bombing village after village killing many woman & children. "Chinese Special Envoy for Asian Affairs Deng Xijun, along with the deputy Indian national security advisor and the Thai foreign minister, addressed the event, displaying their support for the regime" Its hard to believe the integrity of humanity.

Well that would mean purging the local police force then wouldn't it!

It just goes to show the intelligence of the new government, if they were serious about stimulating tourism it would be a blanket 90 day visa for all countries with 30 day visa status and not just for Russians! It also shows where their real allegiance is, China & Russia. Thai politics not much different to many other countries, notably the USA & Russia! The USA gets their intelligence organisation to assassinate their unwanted leaders and with the VP of the day in cohorts. In Thailand they just go into exile and when the dust has settled cruise back in.

If Taxi's in Thailand dont have a gun or a large knife then they at least have an iron bar, why do they need to have these weapons because it so often leads to violence like this very badly reported story. Why are many Taxi drivers so aggressive & a menace to society? When they catch this guy ( if they do, he maybe well connected in which case they wont) will they impose the appropriate sentence? The Farang in Samui recently apprehended who attacked no one is being threatened with 10 years and a hefty fine so if thats any bench mark this guy should get life?

Maybe if you lived there you would have a slightly different opinion, my sadness is for the victims including the innocent Palestinians who are going to get the <deleted> bombed out of them! Hamas is a terror organisation only supported by rogue nations! Maybe you should change your residential status!

We know in theory that the same penalties apply for all but we also know Thailand and its biased ways when it comes to foreigners!

There are many more factors than the Siam Paragon shoot up, how stupid is the Thai Tourism. The shooting was last week so how has that affected that week and the week previous??? Were the Chinese with paid tickets just waiting for a reason to cancel, saw the shooting and thousands cancelled. Its low season, wet season, the end of Chinese holidays etc etc. TT just needed a reason to admit that tourist numbers are bad and looking at the latest world news probably not going to get better soon!
