Typical of many resturants in Thailand. If the customer doesn't pay the bill the owners charge the servers or the deliver drivers for the loss like its their fault somehow. That's an f'd up position as an owner to take. Staff and drivers should refuse to continue to work for owners like this. We own a cafe' and some of our staff tried to pay for a failed customer payment from the tip jar and I flatly refused to allow them to do that and they were shocked I wasn't charging them. When I ask why I should charge them they all said it was their fault??? What a f'd up thinking they have been engrained with.

Nope it doesn't necessarily. You apparently don't understand logistics and international transport and trade. You're free to show your displeasure by not buying the products you feel are overpriced. That's what intelligent people do.

Being in a container with other items doesn't make it cheaper unless every item in the container is coming from the same shipper. If the freight forwarder is combining your small shipment freight with other freight to make a full container load you dont get charged the cheaper full container freight charge. you pay the higher small shipment fees as its much more labor intensive to combine shipments at origin to make a container load and then breakdown and distribute at destination. Theres a lot of logistics that go into small shipments that people aren't aware of.

Part of the mark up is due to shipping cost which are more than you may think on small quantity transports. Then there is import duties on certain items which can be quite large. The remainder is their profit for a limited market and no economy of scale like on many domestic items or large volume products.

You work in tech and can't see a phishing scam email for what it is. Then claim the call center is not helpful but you refuse to give them needed info to verify your claim of a fake acct? Seems Citi bank isn't the only one that sucks and isnt helpful.

So you call them to shut down the fake account but refuse to prove who you are so they can match the account and help you? They need to know who you are and if the account is yours so they match your ss to what shows on the acct. Checking the one on the account doesn't tell them its your account it just tells them the account has a ss number. Think about it, its not rocket science. It was most like a scam email try to phish for your details if you clicked on the link in the email.

A ss number is associated with an account when its opened. The account info with or without your info would verify if its considered a valid account tied to you. Why the concern about disclosing your SS number. They already have it on any accounts you have with them. If the account doesnt have it then its not tied to you legally if the name is fake and they only have an email address, which mean nothing. Anyone could call that has the fake info and claim its their account. That info is available on any paper statement thrown in the trash. You ask for their help to close the account but refuse to give them the info so they to do that. And now your surprised they didnt help?????

Wells Fargo was found guilty of doing exactly this. They were opening fake CC accounts, mortgages and car loans a few years back. Apparently they had some quota system in place and the staff and middle managers were all in on the ploy. During the big short leading up to 2008 in the US, tons of mortgages were issue with no back ground checks or documentation. Anything is possible if there's a will to do it. in this situation there may have been some type of data breach and scammers are involved. They could be linked to the account and use it to siphon off small amounts repeatedly. Under a certain threshold those charges are just written off and filed against their insurance.

The sad part is the tragic events are not life altering for most of the families only the victims. The families go on after a few days like its no big deal, it was their karma. Never changing their actions or push for changes.

Whats more unusual is the fact that she was reported missing from Sept 28th but seen getting into a taxi at the market on the 30th. If they were able to track her don on cctv then it shouldn't be too hard to find the taxi and see where she went from the market. Seems part if the story is missing.

I've checked in 2 to 3 hours early and never had a boarding pass at bkk that didn't have a gate listed. Im in and out 2 or 3 times a year. Its regular occurrence in Qatar to not have a gate listed though but thats more a result of all the construction going on there. Maybe its just your airline. I don't think Code Sharing has anything to do with the gate. That's assigned by the airport to the actual carrier aircraft.

Every flight I've ever taken out of bkk has had a gate listed on the boarding pass so not sure what airline you fly on.

So it appears on the surface your complaining about the airport but it actually was you that picked the wrong gate because you didn't read the board properly?

Nope you didn't say what I said. You gave a lame answer that was incomplete to try to make some odd point.

You need to work on your writing skills so people can understand what your talking about. Your taking things out of context and presenting them as your position. Each state has EC that vote based on their state vote. Only 2 are not winner take all but thats not new. You are trying to add up total votes and combine them not how the voting guidelines are set for each state. Learn how it works and stop spreading your inaccurate views as facts

Yes at least you know now what they will accept and what they won't. All the Imm offices dont handle the regs the same, so what works at one office doesn't always work at another.

They do know exactly how many have been issued for DTV and each other category so not sure why you think they wouldnt know. They choose not to release the numbers as of yet for some reason only they know. Your making lots of inaccurate statements in your post
