I was at immigration at Chang Wattana in the line for queue numbers and a Chinese man (he threw his passport at the attendant so I could see it was a Chinese passport) cut in front of me just as I got to the window. The Thai attendant threw his passport back at him with zero hesitation and gave him a look, well if looks could kill... Then she immediately returned to business without missing a beat, I guess they are used to handling line cutters at immigration.

Success rate on bars and restaurants is low everywhere. Witness Deniro and Grodin in "Midnight Run": Deniro's character says he wants to retire and open a restaurant. [Grodin: I have to tell you, a restaurant is a very tricky investment. More than half of them go under within the first six months. If I were your accountant, I'd strongly advise you against it. Deniro: You would? You're not my accountant. Grodin: No, if I were your accountant... Deniro: I told you, I took you out here... Grodin: No, I'm just saying that it's a very tricky business... and if I were your accountant, I would strongly advise you against it... as an accountant. Deniro: You're not my accountant. Grodin: I realize I'm not your accountant. I'm saying, if I were your accountant.] So if Grodin were your accountant he would strongly advise you against opening a restaurant or bar in Pattaya.

I think you mean members "who are intellectually challenged" not "members who's" which is a contraction of "members who is intellectually challenged".

Lone Kuwaiti Tourist Fights Off Five Young Teen Robbers in Pattaya
cdemundo replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
" Personal accountability has never been learned starting with the generation raised by baby boomer mothers... participation trophies abound. " True in the West in my opinion but is it true in Thailand? Was there a generational change in Thai attitudes toward child raising? -

Yes, Hunter has certainly turned out to be the Fredo (a la The Godfather movies) of the Biden family. Geez, what a dirt bag he turned out to be. Russia collusion, is that the theory the accusations were a witchhunt? Apparently, the investigation was questionable. Myocarditis associated with COVID vaccine has been established I didn't realize that was thought of as a conspiracy theory. White supremacists in the military has been reported, also religious extremism in the military I guess. At least the lizard people aren't real, or are they?

What if a former US president could be brought back to life like the dinos in Jurassic Park? Not a serious possibility of course, but maybe an interesting "what if". What US president from the past would you like to see brought back? George Washington? Abe Lincoln? Teddy Roosevelt? Ike? (My front runner.) Millard Fillmore?

The syllable pii (พี่) is used in compound words to mean elder, and alone it means elders.

" Let's say you exposed a group of people to a virus. Some wouldn't get sick at all, then others would get varying degrees of symptoms from very mild to serious" Brilliant, shows a deep understanding, I feel humbled. -
My only knowledge the OP being from his posts on this group... I think he should be grateful that anyone wishes him a good anything.

It seems that a lot of the vaccine skeptics/"healthy immune system" crowd have very little understanding of the immune system. Starting with the basics: "The immune system is made up of two parts: the innate, (general) immune system and the adaptive (specialized) immune system." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK279396/#:~:text=Last Update%3A July 30%2C 2020,adaptive (specialized) immune system. (The link is a good place to start.) Someone who doesn't understand this (general and adaptive components) cannot understand the role of vaccines. What the "healthy, natural immune system" crowd says indicates that they do not understand the general and adaptive immune system. -

I live in a condo complex that has 7 buildings with 24 units each. I rarely see anyone. There are a bunch of retired Thai men who I see as they go walking together most mornings. I don't know if they have wives or families. The people in the 3 apartments on the same floor as me are quiet and I seldom see them. No problems.
