  1. The get primary funding by those making transfers - just like the Chinese system. You give money in country x and a person in country z pays. Only when extra funds are needed would SWIFT or IBAN be required (never to customer - only to in country Wise accounts).
  2. They have bank accounts in all destination countries for payments AFAIK. It is like the old Chinese shophouse system with local cash being used for payments so no need to transfer funds (other than resupply local accounts if not enough funds from those depositing locally for payments in other countries).
  3. Wise use accounts in destination countries for local payments to customers.
  4. AKA as silymarin 300mg once a day prescribed and had not been drinking for 50 years. Not much help but not getting worse either. Has OP been tested for hepatitis A or B (as could make more serious). The ultrasound is easy and will provide good indication of liver condition.
  5. True enough and they clearly state that. But perhaps that is an advantage in current bank failure times (Silvergate Bank and Silicon Valley Bank in last 3 days). Obviously you would not want to keep retirement funds uninsured but for normal transfers/holding for pension deposits and such can see a use for - and makes them more than just a normal money transfer service.
  6. It can vary quite a bit if want multi focal type rather than basic single focal type and they should be addressing that. But if insured mono I believe is still the norm.
  7. Showers require higher pressure than normal tap flow but there are things to check. Almost all will have a metal filter on entry line that may get clogged with dirt and can easily be cleaned. A fine spray shower head can also make it feel stronger, and are very cheap. They are advertised as hi pressure and almost flat. As for water pump does it have a pressure tank or is it designed to pump continually.
  8. FYI everything after the HTML for links can be removed (someone told me a few months ago). Makes for shorter link. IE: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/0-10-wheelchair-rollator-circlife-2-in-1-alp3300-1-bcosmo-the-pharmacy-i173724234-s217577069.html
  9. Not sure what you mean by that as in USA they have normal ACH bank account numbers/bank routing available for depositing/holding money.
  10. It is not a traditional bank offering loans and such but they do offer accounts in various currencies that they hold in actual banks. So you can pay a pension or make deposits to such an account and use when you want to fund transfers. But this is without the government bank guarantees you normally have with an actual bank.
  11. Do people still believe this was more than:
  12. As said one grounded outlet and a switch is all that will fit in a normal 2x4 box using that method. And even then there is not much room for wires. Just replaced such an outlet with the Nano dual top ground Transam posted above. This should be a valid solution for OP issues (although orientation not as he envisioned).
  13. What exactly? See none that fit the criteria of allowing 2 right angle plugs access at same time (which is point of this thread) on that link.
  14. Received few minutes ago and easy 5 minute install - plenty of room in box due to deep cover plate and seems to work well. Easy push of wire into L/N/G but suspect might be an issue removing as don't know how they would be loosened (but did not check closely so perhaps there was a pry point that I missed).
  15. I received the same email several days after doing online and in pending status - mine was actually due on 13th however. Seems they have issues with email notifications now and not sending 15 days early as previously (which in itself was bad as you could not do until next day). Would not worry if still listed as pending - mine was approve several days later.
  16. No it is not - the FTT is unique to Bangkok Bank and you can use Wise to pull from US account or directly deposit to a Wise account and have your account tagged to use Bangkok Bank as paying bank in Thailand and that will get the FTT. But other banks can be used without FTT - just additional paperwork trail may be required.
  17. What country Shopee? Here is Shopee.co.th on internet - have no idea what app is. But if actually on Shopee.co.th just use a computer to order.
  18. Zostavax is available but newer more effective Shingrix is not (maker supply issues so no attempt to register here yet). Zostavax well worth getting.
  19. Unbelievable - Total Dissolved Solids - banned abbreviation on forum?
  20. Not sure what UF is but the RO system i posted above making mineral water will not have much difference in <deleted> as that is a measurement of mineral conductivity and that unit is designed to return minerals after RO process. In a normal RO system <deleted> should be about 80-90% lower after RO process, but that varies some.
  21. In that case will work fine as RO removes any that filters do not get. First filter only cost 20 baht or less and will normally last multi months.
  22. No this would not help - this is for drinking water only and not more than a dribble flow when having to process water - it fills a small pressure tank to allow us to get a few liters of water before have to start RO process again. What you need is a whole house filter and they are available with backflow to clean like used in water softener. Should have local filter knowledge for what type of filters required. But if only issue is wire filter on shower just clean every week may be all you need to do.
  23. Crowns normally fail because of decay below so expect x-ray was to make sure everything copasetic before refit. 3k for basic cleaning would be on very high side but expect took more than 10 minutes to do. Do not believe most say Thailand is cheap - often cheaper than where we come from - but many times not by much.
