Thai man loses 372,000 baht to nursing student in scam wedding
ChaiyaTH replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Ehh, a 40 year old here is just as much of a child, that's my point, it does not really changes, you only will have a good excuse to be ripped if it was a 23 year old VS a 43 year old at age 50-60. Any relationship in asia is at least partly about the money, to still deny that, is what i call real stupidity. Does that mean the girl not loves you? Possible. Does that mean she can love you? Possible too. -

Ehh that is absolute nonsense, those that you meet in private hospitals are often from rich families and studied abroad. They do not have these issues to begin with. -

You are the biggest moron if you actually think it's different when the girl is 40. -
If you're a Spanish national who has lost your passport or identity card outside of Spain, you can apply for a laissez-passer at the Spanish consulate in Bangkok: Documents You'll need to bring the following documents to the consulate: A lost record from the Thai police station A copy of your lost passport or ID card, if you have one Two 3.5 x 4.5 cm photographs A completed form from the embassy reception Fees The laissez-passer costs 600 THB in cash. Application You must apply in person at the consulate. Minors and people without legal capacity must be accompanied by their parents or guardians. Validity The laissez-passer is only valid for the time it takes to complete a single trip to Spain. Surrendering You must surrender the laissez-passer to the police upon entry to Spain, or at a police station within three working days of arrival.

Untrue that entirely depends, nowadays they can process the new passports with QR codes etc in them, in around 4-5 working days, for Europeans. You just have to ask for the emergency option which often costs 10-20 euro more. The new passports only exist since a few weeks. I have never seen them caring about your actual visa as well, they did not check mine when renewing it nor a friend who lost his (german). The german did first get a temporary one but shortly after also a permanent new one. Guess that in your case a emergency one can be enough, as you are on overstay, your plan of saying i want to leave december 2nd is obivously stupid. You will leave as soon you get the document. Basically you should just bring the police report and hopefully a scan/copy of your lost passport, that you have on your phone at all times ( .....? ). If your parents are not Spanish by birth it might be more complicated too.

Love makes you blind is once again confirmed to be true... Cliche thing nowadays tho, girls who try to use guys for paying their education. Well no wonder, it costs like half a million baht to study like this girl does, my girlfriend did the same, while the starting salaries are still only 15K.... And there is even a lot of interest on these loans too, many parents don't even understand the terms. Essentially I am paying off my girlfriend education debt while she only worked 2 years, as it was not worth working compared to being a mom at home. Came down to something like this: Salary after taxes and forced insurance: 14,700 baht. Education debt: 4,700 baht (for 20 years). Real salary: 10,000 baht. 7/11 workers laugh at them. Even with a 20-23K salary in Bangkok it is a bad deal, as in that case there is additional rent and transport costs on top of the averages. Do some nurses in private hospitals earn 40-60K per month? Yes, that is the honey pot but few do that. A few doctors I know, not nurses, have double that education debt and their wage is also only double. So essentially they not really earn until age 40-45 and by then there was inflation for decades + the wages are often not increasing with that. Hence you always see Thais flashing dollars from that age. Anyway best advice to a Thai: start a business instead with some borrowed money after doing a job X years. Studying in this country is a waste of time anyway. I know girls from private schools who now are maids in hotels in europe while they could have their wage in passive income if their parents invested it instead. -
Supect China involvement in sabotage in Baltic sea
ChaiyaTH replied to Hummin's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
Yeah right accusing China and Russia again while it in reality will have been the US navy or CIA. You biden ass lickers still don't get it do you, it's ovaahh. What would you do when executing such operation? I would wait for another country to be nearby too so I can blame them. Also very funny that all these sattelites and technology that can even capture presence of UFO's, can not find back a missing malaysian plane, a ship at the gas pipes, and now at the Internet cables. Who profited from the gas pipes? USA selling Europe a lot of liquid gas? -
They did smart speeding / no helmet camera's in Chiang Mai too, also only lasted a week, I framed the photo of myself.

Another failed attempt of the World Economic Forum...

Wow this is great, so now for the next 6 months, any time we as a male foreigner get into an elevator, and a Thai woman is on her own, she will right away act pathetic and suddenly walk away to not join you in the same elevator... If they are not watching your every move to catch you working illegally, or randomly shake you down to check your visa, it is these news events causing all Thais to think we are the devil. Living here in a way really is like having this sticker on your forehead forever. We always first need to proof our innocence before it changes.

Surprise Surge: Thai Economy Outperforms Expectations with 3% Growth
ChaiyaTH replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
50% less than Vietnam. I do honestly wonder where all that growth is though, I only see a decline but higher prices that make up for it, which aren't sustainable. Same airlines, fewer flights but double the prices. The mystery of all fully booked hotels and planes remains the biggest as most bars and restaurants are ghosted. This is even weirder in the south, where you neither find them on the beaches in the amounts you would expect. -
Well he is actually right, almost none of the foreign business owners, for example restaurants bars and so on, never paid a dime of tax or minimal fake taxes. Same for all profits on property rentals etc etc etc. Thailand has basically made zero effort so far, to even enforce things for what was always applicable already. Let alone the new change to transfers to Thailand while being classed a tax resident, or let alone the fantasy pipe dream of overseas income. The country would be half empty in no time, the south would suddenly have property available and hurt property developers. All this while they are under high pressure already in general. Do you really think it is a magic trick or accident that the news went silence for so long already? Most of the entire news was all and only due to the new appointed woman boss of the TRD. Now she is in place, she will shut up. This happens all the time with police stations and immigration bureaus as well. Until the dust settles. They might have a tiny chance of success if they allow us to first deduct the private education 100% before having to pay any taxes, if any taxes left. I'd accept a flat 10% not a .25% more + with a 3-5 yearly visa.

Just pay some junkie 1000 baht to cut them down with a machette lol, tell him its sugar cane.

They did the same pathetic thing in Chiang Mai during covid, making the entire old city one way over night and putting the exact same pillars on the road for cycling, it took a week and all is gone since. Idiots.

'Not automatically', yeah obviously you need to register and then the other comparison to bulgarians or romanians, do you even expect a response? And in fact, those can live anywhere too even with poor paid construction jobs. So anyway, what you say is incorrect entirely.

Seems you are bored and post half baked replies everywhere tonight. I don't really recall a 7/11 too except when I got ice cream. -
We should make a bet on polymarket.com with a end date before those orange things are removed again.

Cycle lane? They can't even drive on 1 car lane here, I guess most think that the white line in the middle is where you car should be aligned in the middle too. Same when there is space to the left for cycles, they will take the middle of both. Absolute nuts.
