Chinese airlines cancel flights to Thailand as demand drops
Chris Daley replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
One of the worst airports I have passed though. The woman was screaming at me and asking why I had a camera. She then slammed it down on the table. Lack of signs. No staff available to ask for directions or help. No moving walkways. Smog on the inside of the airport.- 43 replies

Same prices same low quality sweet sandwiches, sweet cheese, sweet spreads, sweet meats. Just more of and you can split the packed open because it's bulk.

Teacher praised for bravery in tackling knife-wielding attacker
Chris Daley replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
I would love to take on an attacker. Trained for most of twenties in martial arts and never got to use it. Would be a joy. -
A full time job working my hands to the bone for nothing. Saving up to be poor and living in breadline poverty. It was awful.

Excellent experience at CW this afternoon
Chris Daley replied to Griffo63's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Some of my excellent experiences at CW: - having my passport thrown at me. - being asked to stand up, wait, then sit again - being told to put both my hands out and hand the document to them slowly - being asked to pay for the residence house address, getting a receipt, then coming back and being told she has never seen me. I show her the receipt she says no, pay again. - being given the wrong queue by the morons at the front and waiting for 6 hours for nothing - average wait six hours+ - disgusting cold food in the food court - toilets always broken - no parking, they use the taxpayers spaces to store old police cars Many more over the years that I can't remember right now. -
Immigration, Dead mother…
Chris Daley replied to khunpa's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I know a typical Thai mother / drug addict and alcoholic. When she wakes up late she looks at the kid and says 'you feel sick today, right'? The kids says yes and stays at home. The kid has now learnt this is a way to stay home. Same for people dying. It's best to move on quickly. I was doing coloring with the child and the child ran to show her mom. The mom showed no interest and walked past her. The child tore up the paper and threw it on the ground. The child learnt that day that studying is useless. It's so easy to reinforce negative behavior with children. You should treat the interviews as a totally normal thing that happens. Because it is. -
Unrest brews over forced card stunts at Thai school football match
Chris Daley replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Translation: The students are forced to hold a piece of paper up (to make the image). The heat is excruciating. Usually all classes are cancelled for the entire day. It's not just football. Sometimes for a retirement party ceremony. -

Immigration, Dead mother…
Chris Daley replied to khunpa's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Children can feed off of your emotions and will try to do what is right. He has learnt that 'being sad about mom' is right and gets him free candy after. Tell him to get over it and just blast though the interviews. Do not spend time on it. Your child will learn that this is the new topic we all talk about in the house. -

Student Killed Trying to Cross Sukhumvit Road In Front of Dusithani College
Chris Daley replied to Banana7's topic in Pattaya
When I was at university I almost got hit. I used the crossing and the bus raced over it and just hit my bag. That crossing is used by many schools in the area. So after that I cross with the students. If you cross alone they will mow you down and keep going. -
CHEATING ONLINE SHOPPING- be careful people
Chris Daley replied to Scouse123's topic in General Topics
The quality is such garbage now I prefer real shops. Bought a cat toy, the string was torn off and the ball split in half. Bought some shoes, wore them a few times and the sole is starting to peel off. I will get the return address and pay them a visit in person. -
So it means they could have cured poverty at any point in the last 60 years. They could have cured it but they didn't they just took the people's money and pissed it down the drain. So now we know that we should remind them every few months. Cure poverty or we burn your houses down. Cure poverty if you want to see your child again. That sort of thing. Sorry government the secrets out now, you have 10,000 baht of tax payers money for every person in Thailand just laying around.
