It's a private hospital that provides Social Insurance treatments from the Thai government. Mission hospital is a medical institution established in the 1940s by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. when i first went in 2 weeks ago, i was seeing a dr nurse in 2 minutes and a dr in 5 when i had my appt, waited 10 minutes but i was early> I have been using them for years, YES Bangkok -phuket and Siriroj are pushed for Farangs, but they cost more for the same care and service, Cost wise its alot less than the 2 international ones, BUT maybe 35% higher than the government ones ( Vachira , Patong, Thalang) but the quality is far better> waited an hour? sure it could happen if there has been a rush of people showing up to, but down a hospital cause 1 person had to wait....... I went in once about 8 years ago with a busted collarbone and had a shot of morphine within 5 minutes got insurance? of course go for the most expensive .

no idea when u were there, but i was in 75 and it was not as u described>| PLUS Thailand got 39+ million tourists in 2019 NOT Bangkok congrats on getting the DTV Makes good sense as easier/cheaper than using a agent for getting my 1 year retirement extension here. I would love to attend a thai cooking class and learn to make Phat Thai 🙂

if a reputable agent no cons i didn't do a 90 day report for 6 months My agent did my yearly extension and was charged and extra 1,000 baht for the missed 90 day report (s) if you missed a report date, the passport is required How safe is it to mail ur passport to ur embassy in Bangkok for a new passport??

when you get an extension ask immigration when you need do ur 90 days Many immigrations will reset ur 90 days to the day ur extension is issued As to the original question come in on a visa exempt, apply for a non O visa ( 2,000 baht) deposit ur money, after 2 months back to immigration and apply for ur 1 year extension ( 1,900 baht) Via an agent anywhere from 25,000-50,000 , all depends on where you are with Pattaya the cheapest Not hard at all,, either way
