I think you are assuming there's a lot more going on under the hood than there actually is.

I think younger people - particularly up to say 35 - are more likely to care about moral issues as well as hip pocket stuff - she got them thinking about voting - registered - and ready to vote. The morality of multiple partners which seems to excite some here is small fry to a certain audience compared to the morality of women's rights, women's health and the perceived moral standing of each candidate.

As has been said most pensioners don't need to lodge in Australia - pension is taxable but rebates would mean nil tax. There's the residency issue but lets not go there. The only issue is that last sentence - I think what you state is the existing system - but I think now they are saying you are taxed on world wide income regardless of whether it is taken to Thailand. As the other poster said the worst case likely is pretty low tax. The way they could catch up in a simple way is if they linked immigration and lodging tax returns but that's all likely years ahead if at all.

I haven't been keeping up with it that much but isn't the point that now your world wide income would be taxed. So in theory they may not know about anything not transferred but it would be taxable as such. With all the intergovernmental information transfers it may pop up I suppose. But a lot of water to go under the bridge till it is a thing.

I think this discussion has been had - I have posted a thing before - can find it if wanted - that appears to say there is nothing in the Double Tax Agreement to exclude the age pension being taxed by Thailand. You seem to be saying that the Age Pension is paid to residents by definition - and if you live in Thailand but are not a citizen of Thailand - you are excluded. If you can point to something that says that it might be helpful.

I don't know. There may be some normal swing voters out there who hear about this and think - maybe not Trump as the leader of the free world.

I hope after you've watched them you read reviews that dispute their contents and then ask yourself if the claims amount to something worthwhile.

This is a perfect example where you need to think things through. As I have mentioned in other posts targetted tariffs where say China is assisting exporters so that the sale price in the US is not fair can be a reasonable retaliation by the US. But a blanket tariff as Trump has proposed is straight out protectionism and isn't consistent with the age old Republicans mantra of a free market. It can lead to significant inflation and a distorted market. Has Harris copied this. Of course not.

Tariffs and foreign policy are 2 examples that have been criticised by me and others regularly. Best not say things in absolutes like 'never'. How is Australia falling apart by the way. I agree Americas's economy is stronger than the UK and Australia and Biden gets to take credit for that.

You brought up election fraud though. It is pretty central to Trump's whole presidency too. Thanks for the links I saw them posted now. It's not about being inept in searching - every election will have an issue here and there - it's to be in a position to be able to say these issues really - and in fact verifiably statistically likely - had the capacity to result in a different winner.

But there either is verifiable evidence or not. If not really ask yourself why not. Others have explained the lengths gone to prove it and they came to nothing. Don't be like that pillow guy years later carrying on about fraud and the evidence will be out shortly kind of thing. It doesn't end well nor do much for credibility.
