  1. I kinda got used to this eyesore. It really stands out in the Bali Hai area, and has become an essential part of the scenery. I might miss it either way, whether demolished or turned into something that is not an eyesore.
  2. I am surprised they still have Thai tourists.
  3. Exactly, Thais usually equate a mental health problem with "being nuts"
  4. Had it with a transfer to Vietnam recently. They said something like identity verification required first, might take a few days, in spite of having done the same transfer dozens of times. Wasn't able to cancel it. An hour later, wise asked me 2 rather dumb /irrelevant questions. 1)which country are you sending the money to? Vietnamese Dong to a Vietnamese account, so obviously Vietnam 2)is this your only source of income? (why do they care) I answer yes A minute later I had my money
  5. Đồng doesnt stay low. It slowly but continuously trends downward.
  6. You can still pay cash.
  7. What a moron. The guy got it as. - backwards. The scammers and crooks won't be deterred by visa requirements, they know how to evade scrutiny. Some quality/big spenders, the tourists that stay for a short time and spend a lot, might say to themselves visa application just for a week, can't be bothered, let's go somewhere else.
  8. Yes, I am aware of this. Especially in his first term, he did a lot of good for the working class/farmers (30 Baht health scheme, minimum wage upped from 170 to 300 Baht...). That's why he won the second term in a landslide. Thaksin is not stupid like the orange retard in the WH, he knows you have to have some policies that help the mass of people to stay in power forever. But ultimately, his goals are enriching himself and power, not the welfare of the Thai people, just like the orange blob he doesn't give a s..t.
  9. Guys on this board are not representative of the population at large. I personally know of a "house husband", where the wife brings home the bacon.
  10. Maybe they can join Thaksin's sewage squad in Klong Prem, and might over 30/40 years accumulate the cash. Probably too late for the mother, though.
  11. Swamp, sewage, mud, and filth, that's where Tony is truly in his element. He has been swimming in it all his life.
  12. Interesting, are you referring to Africans and Thais in general, or to sex workers in particular?
  13. No, three tier system, one for rich, influential locals, another for ordinary locals, and a 3rd for foreigners.
  14. Tony, the sewer rat, goes back to his roots. How fitting.
  15. Especially the Indians prefer streetworkers to bargirls. Although they don't like professionals that are even darker than they are. Do some farangs prefer Africans to Thais? On Beach Road I don't think I have ever seen a really hot looking African.
  16. I can guarantee you that there is no prostitution in Pattaya. Ask TAT.
  17. So, from now on, no more visa exemption, and a new visa application from with questions like do you tend to strip in public and run around in your birthday suit, yes or no. Every time some loon freaks out, it's the visa free entry. Shut the border all together, zero farangs in Thailand, zero sexy man Pattaya streaking. A job for Thais only.
  18. No, I was ridiculing the latest announcement of enforcing the alcohol laws.
  19. A few more years, and Tony's grandchildren will be ready, rivalling the Kim dynasty, Sung, Il, and Un. How adorable!
  20. 55555 that's a good one :didn't know that fascist retards sometimes can be funny.
