Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
Saanim replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
What is a "propaganda, lies and misinformation" about Minsk treaties? Hadn't it been serious enough that the big leaders of Germany and France had taken their precious time travelling repeatedly to Minsk in order to set up some measures for avoiding the deaths of innocent population of Ukraine? And to set up a special mission of OSCE to monitor the atrocities? -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
Saanim replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
Twisting of facts: Do you have the link that the Indian PM said something like that? The fact is that they met in September. Do they need to meet every two months? Perhaps you show few examples of other super leaders meeting more often? -

In fact, what do you refer to was recently coming out of the mouth of German ex-chancellor Angela Merkel. -

Who is so naive to believe "unbiased" WaPo's clarification of Minsk Accords? As recently ex-chancellor Angela Merkel - one of the main actors of the negotiations - disclosed, what was the purpose of the treaties: to buy time. -
Brittney Griner reportedly released from Russian prison 10 months after arrest

What I wrote was not about him being held in a high esteem. You should read again... -

That does not always need to be so bad. Others are also dishonorably discharged from Army - or just with less severe administrative discharge - while still further enjoying being kept in a high esteem... -
"Nondescript and nothing really incriminating"? Wondering why so many high ranking officials have wasted their valuable time with that instead of pursuing real criminals. If such "nondescript" info is laying staved away around what could be read in other laptops that are not so freely accessible to read by public?

Sure, the submersible pump cannot suck all the dirt unless the bottom does not have a certain small pit 2-3cm deep for placing the pump in and a proper floor slope that brings in the last cms of the water including the dirt. The same is very advisable to have it at an OverFlow tank of OF swimming pool - that surely needs to clean up more often than after 15 years ????. Not only the underground tanks cleaning is a problem, same is at any tank that is not properly prepared for the draining and flushing. That we experience at all plastic tanks available here in Thailand where the draining outlet (the second one found at the bottom) is not really at the bottom and the bottom is not really in a slope. So, even with a strong spraying thru the top opening the dirt does not go easily out unless the whole tank is moved somehow. Back to the tank sediment: yes, any water system brings a water that is not really H2O. So, with the storage and subsequent oxidation something will get down to the bottom. One will be quite surprised seeing it after one year. That especially when the water source is overly provided with chlorine that speeds up the oxidation. In my case recently, the chlorination of the city water is so strong, smelling it at every water opening, something like this I do not smell in my swimming pool. That forces me to fill alternatively 2 tanks, one always keep airing for few days without a discharge into house. Whether a tank needs a cleaning? That's left to one's consideration...

What type of pool? Salt or Chlorine, the good, the bad, the ugly...
Saanim replied to IMHO's topic in Swimming Pool Forum
In fact, it was mentioned 8 years ago ????. The idea is surely good, however, how it really works? It obviously needs to be situated on a very large lot and have it get balanced for few years. Will it look also so nice after the kids play there (as the promotion pictures show) and whirl up the ground? And it might better function in rather cooler countries than in tropes. But how many days the swimming is enjoyed in cooler countries? The promotion mentions that it's not much more expensive than the conventional ones. So, what's "natural" in it if it needs also an equipment? -
My cheap sand filter (from GH) was filled some 10 years ago by a washed river sand as obtained by villagers as they provide for water filtering of general use in villages. The sand in the river is few millions years old without any changing. And the water is scarcely treated with a handful of copper sulphate and by chlorine even more scarcely. Of course, a backwashing of the old sand is regularly made after each floor vacuuming. Just took few pictures, trying in vain to see any milky or dull water, unfortunately, I do not possess a microscope.

That was not what I was referring to yours: "Maybe have a vote every five years ?" -

Is it a problem elsewhere every 2 years? -
What you are showing is not the filter, but just the 6-way valve that is attached on the top of the filter. And it is overpriced. I bought it once as a spare part for replacement of my valve leaking after years, and it was some 1,500 in GH. See the picture of the filter top opening where the valve is to be attached to by bolts. If you cannot find it on GH web, you should drive and visit a Global House in your vicinity and buy the filter complete with the valve for some 7,500 as on my previous picture). Perhaps there are now more sizes available, you can get a smaller one for your fish pond. And around stores of Global House (or in other gardening areas) there are usually specialized shops where they have a good choice of various filtration systems suitable for fish ponds.

Russian Soldiers Are Freezing To Death In Eastern Ukraine
Saanim replied to Scott's topic in World News
I am puzzled. Reading what NATO Stoltenberg was just yesterday saying: https://www.reuters.com/world/natos-stoltenberg-putin-trying-use-winter-war-weapon-against-ukraine-2022-11-28/ Such a powerful war weapon but Putin has forgotten to furnish his own soldiers against General Winter? (Similar blunder when he bombarded the Zapozhje nuclear power plant forgetting that there are his own soldiers inside.) -
Ukraine war: How Germany ended reliance on Russian gas

That beside the one well functional terminal in Hamburg - not really for LNG but not so small - Papa Scholz sold to Onkel Xi at his recent 11-hours state visit to Peking. -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

Just for record: It was just 1/3 of what was provided for UK armies... -
No, it was not about the history...

It seems that you are not well versed with history of relation of Poland - Ukraine population, especially the one not so long ago. (However being afraid of off-topic...) Just to remind you: the large area around Ukrainian Lviv had belonged to Poland before WW2 and the town name was Lwow.

I am using this high head pump 0.5HP for the fish pond (also for re-pumping other rain harvesting), it's cheap and easy. The steel pressure vessel filters (or the one made from glasfiber I showed for swimming pool) will easily withstand the high pressure. And easy to clean by backwashing. Obviously, not the same is true for the small plastic filters sold by fish shops, not possible to backwash (as the picture above shows). But you are right, when the inlet water is quite dirty while direct sucking the fish dirt (not sedimented and partly filtered as I have it), the dirt lumps will block the tiny gap in-between the two centrifugal disks. That what I was often clearing at such pump years before while using it for swimming pool (incl. floor vacuum sucking) - before I discovered Global House with the available low head, high flow pumps, not so expensive as at special pool shops.

There is a lot of what you insinuated. But yes, I do not trust any such poll. What about you? Are you familiar somehow with the Polish public? And I haven't known prof. Legutko until I read about his very good EU assessment. Do you think that's not true what he said?
