  1. Do you literally live in a playground?
  2. ...and if I could / did, your position would change?
  3. You're missing the point. The majority of relevant scientists of today are already saying this is already an issue of the day.
  4. I typically used to always buy Teflon coated, but I cringe every time I see my wife / step daughter cleaning them with wire scourers or dropping 5kg of metal cutlery into them. No amount of advice given makes any difference. Now I buy cheap pans that they can scub for as long as they like. Quick, easy and cheap to replace (both the pans and the family).
  5. You need to look at all the facts though... That's true. What percentage of that better living do you put down to average temperatures having risen compared with advances directly related to discovery through science?
  6. I drive quire frequently between Pattaya and Bangkok. The number of minivans driving recklessly is astounding. I'd seriously consider cancelling a trip if a minivan was the only option. In your case it isn't.
  7. Great. Nothing more to talk about until the evidence is presented then. Please, no more talk from the GOP about the existence of evidence that never materialises. We had enough of that from Rudy, Sidney and the Pillow nutter.
  8. How foolish must one be to ignore modern science in the hope that future science might prove their fact-scarce hypothesis accurate?
  9. I'd meet anyone from on here, with few exceptions. There are a few who seem to be genuine "good eggs" and of course there are plenty of muppets. I'd meet the good eggs for obvious reasons. I'd meet the muppets to see if they are just as obnoxious when face to face. I've learned from the obnoxious before. I've also formed long lasting relationships with people who, at first impression, I thought were a waste of time. I'd even meet a Trump supporter until it was obvious that his / her IQ was typical of the fold.
  10. You're kind of equating the slightly drippy sump plug on my old Alfa Romeo 156 with the Exxon Valdez.
  11. I like to frequent the same taxi service regardless of which airport I'm going to. Nam's has a big notice on their rates page that they no longer go to or from Don Mueang, which seems a bit strange. I guess they get all the business they need from Suvarnabhumi only.
  12. Neither was your original post. I am with you that I also used to think YouTube was a waste of time. In the last couple of years I've come across a number of channels that are actually quite educational and well worth the time spent. Legal Eagle is a good example, regardless of his views on certain topics. He certainly knows his stuff, but there are many others. I'm a software dev, have been for decades and it's important for me to at least be aware of new tech - in many cases maintaining expertise in it. If I can navigate past the plethora of heavily Indian accented content (more often than not so heavily accented that I cannot understand a word of it), it really is a great resource.
  13. Yep. I recommend Legal Eagle.
  14. Age 6ish. Hand-me-down Raleigh Tomahawk Age 8ish. Hand-me-down Raleigh Chopper Age 9ish. Raleigh Grifter. My first new bike. Loved that thing but it was HEAVY Age 17. Mother's 1994 1.0L Austin Metro Age 17. Brother's 1996 1.4S Fiesta Age 17. Astra GTE Mk 2. The first car ever registered in my name I then worked in the motor trade for a while and corporate software for many years so had many company cars from age 18 and up. Stand out cars that I bought myself thereafter were things like: TVR Chimaera - just stupidly fast Alfa Romeo 147 GTA - oh the sound. Was an Alfa petrol head for a decade or so with numerous 156/147s

    Grommet

Thank you sir, helpful as always. I must have looked for ages on Lazada and couldn't find them. Top man (and I don't mean your choice of clothes store!)

    Grommet

Afternoon all. I need a grommet. Smaller stainless steel bathroom sink waste pipe enters the larger wall waste pipe at a shallow angle. I need to be able to seal this joint, ideally with an internal grommet like this: I've been to the usual suspects such as Thai Watsadu and the local mum & dad plumbing shop with shrugs of "no have". Silicone can't and wont seal it properly. Any ideas? Thanks.
  17. GammaGlobulin borrowed my keyboard.
  18. Minimalist? No.
  19. Nah, just a flower in your suit breast pocket. Or a ketchup stain on your wife beater vest if you don't have a suit.
  20. I have popcorn on sale for this thread.
  21. Couldn't believe his luck.
  22. Chaiyaphruek 2 near the market. They are dotted all around. As mentioned above, just look out for a Kodak / Fuji sign.
  23. Even if true, not even close to illegal. This thread is about what Trump did and has been indicted for doing. ie. illegal shtuff.
  24. I guess the possibility that she might be just a Ploy didn't twig... Indeed, she is a role model.
