  1. How does he kill a cobra with a spear? Sounds rather a hit or miss proposition, to me.
  2. Nothing wrong with my cerebral cortex, thus far. As far as I know.
  3. One major problem is this: a. When Thailand becomes more expensive, then Thailand's lower quality, riffraff tourists begin to go to more upscale places like Japan. b. This would be fine, except the Japanese people don't like the quality of Thailand's tourists. c. You can read about it on the internet. d. Many Japanese are becoming extremely disgruntled by having the tourist originally scheduled to visit Thailand, suddenly changing plans and visiting Japan. e. The Japanese really do not like this. They are far less accommodating than the people of Thailand. f. In Japan, these days, there is far more pushback against tourists than there ever was. 50 years ago, the tourists to Japan were SUPER-DUPER high class. But now, they seem to be the rejects from Pattaya, or something. This is why I will not go to Japan. I do not want to be seen as part of this rejected group from Thailand. f2. Of course, i would move to Japan, but I would not be a tourist in Japan, or a rejected tourist from Thailand, especially.
  4. The pool must by olympic size, 50-meter pool, for laps. This is a must, as you say.
  5. Noisy ACs, very often. Noisy everything. Stay out of hotels.
  6. Eat at uni. Great food. Two plates plus plenty of rice.....Bt.55.00 Also, no obnoxious diners, no drunks, no Russians, and no weirdos. Relax under a tree, or have a tea. Stay out of the Malls. Don't frequent bars. Etc.
  7. Their spoken English makes it obvious they are not Oxford or Cambridge students. Probably graduated from some other school.
  8. Far too much kicking going on in the Seven. Hard to make sense of the video. Oh, the Humanity....!!!
  9. Self-reliance was once seen as a virtue, especially during WW2, and the Blitz, when even ration books were scarce. Still, how fortunate to be alive and well in Thailand where housing prices, and a lot more, is so cheap.
  10. I fear that the original poster is no Mark Twain. But, is he a man of letters?
  11. so then, I should have clarified this in the HEADLINE Title. I am NOT interested in using the PUNY version of Grok. I want the full experience. And, I refuse to use Sammy's abomination. BUT, yes...I do wish/need to begin using GROK, but a good grok. Grok, grok, grok.....
  12. OK. I didn't read your entire post before replying. I am sure I have an account floating around here, someplace. But this would be a Twitter account and not an X account. Probably the same. Or, maybe I need to re-enlist in the X army. The main question is that does this free use of Grok 3 include all the functionality of the full paid version? Or has it been hobbled and limited in some ways. I really have no idea. But, if the free version is same as paid version...then....I'm in.
  13. Don't the owners object to you doing this to their automobile? And, by the way... Sounds very passive-aggressive to me. In Taiwan, there are very few cars that have not been keyed. And, in Taiwan, they love to key from stem to stern. This is why I say that Taiwan is a very passive-aggressive country. So, please be careful where you park your auto.
  14. Higher IQ. And, Psychologically very Handsome, too.
  15. Not good. There is a HECK of a lot of thermal energy stored in the walls of a brick house. If this were a paper shack, like they have in America, then it would not matter. The walls of plasterboard, or gypsum board, do not store much thermal energy. However, a ton of bricks is a ton of bricks. It requires a LOT of cooling to cool down many tons of bricks. But, once you get the bricks cooled down, then much less energy is required to maintain the desired temperature.... Thermodynamically Speaking....of course.....
  16. It's better when the passenger leans slightly into your seat, I think.
  17. Right. Efficiency is crucial when passing another veHicle.
  18. Your presumption is completely WRONG, in this case. 37 outside and 19 inside However, I choose to forgive you, this time. (( I am an honest scientist. I do not fudge my data. ))
  19. Maybe you did not.... Before you met me. I have 70,000 BTU of cooling capacity. This is just the right amount. Not too hot, and not too cold. Just like Goldilocks.
  20. No more ridiculous than for someone at the age of 16 or 17. Procreation is absolutely ridiculous, these days, until we get a few problems worked out. Such as.... I am sure you know the ones that need to be solved.
  21. Yes. I will very happily pay a lot of money to PEA.... IF only they would provide stable power to me. Also, you are VERY MISTAKEN.....about breasts. I will gladly pay more for chicken breasts if I can buy a few that are not made of rubber, or FLUBBER.
