Economy Thailand Cuts Summer Electricity Bills, Easing Cost Pressure
GammaGlobulin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What I want to know is: Does the power company INTENTIONALLY make the electric bill statement confusing? If you look at the bill, nothing seems to add up, if one takes it at face value. For example, the bill shows a number 0.3972. But what is that number anyway? Because if one multiplies this number by the number of units (kWh) used, no way does the calculation add up to what is showing on the bill. I wonder if this is intentional on the supplier's part. Seems so. -
The Honda City is a bit small. But, nothing wrong with it Maybe OK for City Driving. But, I would like the Honda Civic, which has always been a nice car. But, riding in a Hilux is like riding on a washboard. Don't do it unless you have to. And, today is labor day holiday.... So, very thankfully, the Hilux Traffic on the Road seems greatly reduced. Who knows what all of those construction workers are doing today. All I know is that they are not making noise, as usual. So, today is blessedly quiet by comparison. Tomorrow, we will, once again, experience an invasion of the Hiluxes and their drivers, in work clothes, and shouting at each other. I have noticed that those who drive HILUXES, the majority of them, love to shout at each other when on the site, or just about anywhere. Hilux Culture is a far different culture than the culture I was used to growing up. FAR DIFFERENT....

I will try benadryl....maybe next time.. I don't like hydoxazine, for the reason you mention.
-
Why not try hydroxazine? No need for a prescription from a doctor. I don't like the aftereffects the next morning. But, for use, once in a dogs age, then I think this thingy is good.

She must be a very tall tenant if she finds it so easy to write messages on the ceilings. Also, the big hole in the curtain was a nice touch. She should pay for some anger management classes. And, if they catch her, which should not be difficult, then what will happen to her? People should take care of others' belongings.

No way!!! Just post your evidence if you wish to convince anyone. Please calculate how much water, energy, steel, wood, and other garbage a child will use in a lifetime. WAY OVER THE TOP of anything I could possibly use in the way of appliances. Have you forgotten that I do not drive in Thailand? And, I make far fewer flights per decade, basically not even one. I do not contribute to pollution by using clothes, since I don't wear clothes, on most days. Just growing enough cotton for one shirt uses a huMONGOUS amount of water. I think you need to get back to the drawing board and re-analyze your calculations. And, stop making unsupported comments, maybe....if you might.... Not that I mind your comments. it's just that it might look better for you if you first check your comments to verify that what you are posting is fact or...; FICTION.

Don't you worry about thieves in the night when camping outside in an unknown area? Also, no need for a shower. Just take a bucket along and fill it up, almost anywhere. Or, just go to any old stream and have a bath, that way. I think you should get a E-VAN instead of an E-Truck. The E-VAN is very comfortable, since it is designed to carry passengers, unlike a truck. And, plenty of space for sleeping, as well as up to three or four dogs.

He has absolutely NO CLUE what I was stating. He has no clue about anything relating to science, apparently. What I stated was that bricks, whether made in Thailand or anywhere, have high mass. As this is the case, then it requires much energy to heat them up. And, it requires a lot of energy transfer to cool this thermal mass down. Unfortunately, this guy has probably never had a science class in his life, and so it is pointless to try to educate him, at this late date in his life. I was speaking of American houses, those that are not made of brick, but some lighter material of less mass, require much less energy transfer to go from one temp to a higher or lower temp. But, really, quite pointless to explain this to someone who is so clueless about all sciences. Also, this guy is ignored by me since I don't have enough time in the day to educate him about anything. He probably drives some old HILUX truck.....and when I say old I mean VERY old, almost no value left in it.

Another win for Trump (breaking news)
GammaGlobulin replied to thesetat's topic in The War in Ukraine
Trump is a winner. I am not a bit surprised. Also, most dumb politicians, these days, don't know how to deal with the commies. The art of being a Cold-War Warrior needs to be resurrected and taught in all high-schools and war colleges. -
You mean you air-condition your tent? I have rarely heard of such a thing, outside of the Sahara. And, what is a BEV? Is that like coke, tea, coffee...etc? Also, those HILUX truck cabs are very small inside. If you are going camping, why not just get an AirStream? And, why would the dog want to sleep in the cab of a truck with its owners. Seems crowded to me.

Yes. I am unable to ride in HILUXES, due to the very hard suspension. It is exactly like riding a horse. But, on very rough terrain. I really do not know how owners put up with this.... Maybe they have rocks in their heads? This is all I can figure. Of course, if one is a construction worker, then the jarring ride goes with the territory, and cannot be helped. But, to intentionally subject oneself to this kind of transport, without a real need, seems lunacy.

What you say may or may not be true. However, one thing we know for sure is that to add just one child into this evil mix negates ALL of the energy savings one might attempt to make. And, further, adding one child is worse for the planet than all the other damages a person might do. Therefore, if we can just stop children we can save the world. And, far less hassle, too.

It looks as if you have your weapon loaded in a HILUX, too....!!!!

Somewhere near that ruff place, we have been hearing about.
