a. This is understandable, since Economics is not science, but religion, based on belief. b. All Economic theories work, when the economy is expanding rapidly, and when inflation is low and not rising. c. Economists love to take credit for things that they do not control....like priests or....GOD even.

There is a plant in my yard. Almost every day, without fail, this plant produces purple blossoms which quickly fall, seemingly without any discoverable purpose.. So I ask you, what is the point of this plant? Do you know? Everyday, this plant expends energy to produce beautiful blossoms, a production which has no apparent meaning or advantage for the plant. Yet, this plant is a hardy plant. Many wicked vines have tried to kill this plant, and, still, it survives. Why would such a plant, as hardy as this variety seems to be, produce such beautiful purple blossoms for no reason, blossoms which apparently do nothing other than blossom, and then fall to Earth, and then wilt in the early evening? Everyday, just like clockwork, there are blossoms for me to see….even without bees.. Every evening, just before sunset, the blossoms fall to Earth. There is no explanation….unless…. You might have one. The question is…. Why?

Don't forget to find an unbiased entity, one which will play the watchdog in order to mind your caretakers. Just in case. There is always the slight possibility that,..... if one becomes demented...and then.... If you keep on keeping on.... For more years than they expected....then.... Who knows what might happen. Jimmy was elected during the year of our bicentennial, as you might know. The problem with Jimmy was that he was not exciting enough. Fortunately, months before the election, we had gone to Willow Grove Naval Air Station, several months prior to the election, on July 4th. On July 4th, we were treated to an F4 Phantom solo display....one which they do not do anymore, due to .....who knows why. But, it looked like this, only just a tiny bit better with more extremely low fly-bys with afterburners...or something..... Cool as Crap! Take a look at this if you don't believe me.... Anyway, the US Marines, in their F4 Phantoms do this TWICE as good....please believe me. Just saying....that....compared to Jimmy..... The F4 Phantom is so much more beautiful. This is the plane that will go down in history as being the VERY BEST....... And, then, what about poor Jimmy? Compared to the F4, Jimmy never came close.... By a long shot. ============== I saw that F4 at Willow Grove. And, I saw that F4 in Viet Nam. And, that is one heck of an amazing thing. Nothing will ever come close to the beauty of it. ================== I am probably one of the last of the Mahicans left from the years of Carter and before.... So then... Dear Folks, Just wondering if white women become illogically overly-smitten after being mesmerized by the average seemingly-virile Mexican male. The reason I ask this question is because I have checked out the stats on divorce rates, as you can see here: Anecdotally, as has been sometimes reported in the news, and is most-likely due to some cultural divide, .... Pairings between these two groups often ends badly. BUT....WHY is this? No, of course, this circumstance cannot be due to skin color. There must be some other reason, and it must be CULTURAL, through and through. So then, what do you imagine might be the cultural differences that cause: a. Sudden and immediate attraction between Mexican males and white women b. Higher divorce rates between Mexican males and white women, compared to American males and American white women? Is it this MACHISMO that many Mexican males seem to have, and which most white women love.....INITIALLY....but.... NOT for long, after the ring goes on? I need to know. I am confused. ABSOLUTELY....!!!! This was a disastrous oversight on the part of the airport designers. In addition, just from Google Street View, one can easily view the conditions past the runway, and it's ALL flat land. There was no need for this to happen, if only someone had thought....ahead. And, as you say, one must wait for the published report in several months' time. Many Years ago, when AV&ST was slightly different in format, and was a lot drier, featuring detailed accident reports, I subscribed to this excellent publication, and enjoyed it very much..like DECADES ago. The full report will be forthcoming. One must wait until then before drawing any firm conclusions. Still....that BURM at the end of the runway was a DEAD-giveaway of one of the factors that might have led to higher death toll....just my view.

Not in this case. The engine nacelles on the newer 737s are very low. And seem to touch the runway before the fuselage. This causes the aircraft to ride on the engines, and not the entire surface area of the fuselage. Therefore, much less frictional drag is encountered.

I seem to recall that I sent a dollar to George Wallace, following up on his offer to send baseball bats to supporters, for a dollar. As you can see, both Carter and Wallace were "First Gentlemen" of the deep south. Wallace turned out to be far less radical than he appeared to be, at first.
