If you need wine with ever meal, then don't come to TH. But food is cheaper here / TH, usually. OP certainly wasn't fine dining, considering the table cloth and chair in photo. Though some better seating available. Nice side of fries & salad, but the chicken was looking a little weak, though could be optical illusion, considering the sides. But chicken is about the cheapest thing one can order. Photo I posted earlier at link, was beef & 2 seafood dishes, all of ฿160 / €4.45

Without the wine, yes you can, and very easy, as we do quite often. Wife and myself eat good at ฿350 at surfside restaurants. I can't remember the last time I spent ฿350 for a meal, for just myself. Or ฿700 for the both of us. That's a major pig out.

Not so sure about that, the city, Torrevieja, wasn't listed on Numbeo, so took 2 similar seaside provinces, Torrevieja, located in Alicante province, and Chonburi. Both seaside, both about same population, and area. Chonburi considerably cheaper, where noted. And another comparison ...

Everywhere in TH ... and looks better than OP's, at about half price 😎 https://aseannow.com/topic/1309329-what-are-you-having-for-dinner-tonight/page/6/#findComment-19408107

Actually TH does, as the wife got the neighbors chicken farm shut down. He started mid way through our house build, (without asking or getting permission) and was shut down before house was done, thankfully. What a smell ... now lovely. Funny thing is, we're going to have a coop soon, but only about 6 or 8 chickens, and kept clean. He had 60+ and apparently never cleaned up.

So you're a subsistence farmer, don't drive, own a horse (abuse), or use the grid, and have a hand pump well ... 👍 Are you Amish Scratch that, you on the internet ... hmm Hypocrisy - the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform.

That's pretty much depends on where you live in Bangkok, and where & what you do. If live in tourist areas or expat ghettos, then you'll be speaking English most of the time. Go to where there are no tourist or expats, which is real easy actually.

What to do when you have more money than sense?

To the title ... if you don't need or want anything, like me, then I'm leaving it for the wife & kid. Thankfully I have plenty of both. -
We use about 2% or 1 kWh, per hour, w/ MG ZS, at idle, full power, AC on, high fan.

Just now watched a vid, detailing advantages of cutting sugar out of your diet. Decent and most folks should watch, and I can attest to everything he states. If you can get pass 2 weeks, and stay Keto-ish, then you got it beat, with a little will power. It really is amazing how addicting & habit forming sugar is. HAPPY HEALTH

Trump certainly can't do any worst than the previous 9 idiots, in my lifetime, who got the USA in the state that it is now. Besides, he'll only be there for 4 years. Didn't cause the 'end of days' with his last administration, so I think the USA & world is safe for the next 4 years, if Biden's puppeteers don't implode things before Jan 20th

Phuket rolls out electric buses in bold push for greener island

I care about me & mine's health, not the planet. The planet will heal itself once we are gone, as it has done in the past. Cure your ignorance ... little if any comes from Africa -
When doesn't matter, as I'm usually awake in <6 hrs after I fall asleep. Usually some time around midnight, to before sunrise. 0500 this morning, myself & dog up for a P, then coffee. Check BP before coffee, make sure I'm still alive and not in the other universe

Along with all the non LFP batteries you use everyday in your devices & appliances. A far more non eco friendly product, especially if not rechargeable. Hypocrisy - the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform. -
Road Leading to Betong Bus Terminal collapses

Sinkhole vs poor construction ... shh -
Use to be a few roadside-ish hut vendors on Srisook & Srichomcheum rds. Road in front of and behind the prison. Also cruise along Wathananuwong rd & Adulyadej rd. Of course there was a barber / hair salon (pricy) at Central Plaza, in the corner, 2nd floor, away from where AEON ATM is / was, at the top of the escalator on the back side. If that doesn't ring a bill, just ask at 'information'.
