RFK Jr. Faces New Infidelity Allegations From 3 More Women
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You can't speak out against the system without the expected public morality humiliations to follow, once you start trending. Has everything to do with the topic, as he supports Trump vs Harris. So you discredit him,, to sway his supporter to Harris. About as obvious as can be. Only the brainwashed blind can't see it. He's vocal about covid, vaccines, big pharma, Ukraine, free speech, anti war ... etc etc etc All goes against the money machines ... BUDDHA FORBIDS such free thinking.- 46 replies

Yikes ... fast food & TV dinners. I was single the majority of time in the USA, and I still ate damn good, dining out or in, though very rarely fast food or frozen dinners.

I think you need to dine at better vendors. I eat rather healthy when I eat out, most times.

You're wrong, on all accounts. First the 599k price is simply to get rid of stock, before the revamped is released very soon, probably next auto show, or next March/April 2025 auto show. Has nothing to do with future lower cost batteries to MG Secondly the MSRP of 829k price is simply being competitive, as the 949k price was before their was any real competition in the Thai market. And NO, the overpriced, POS, Nissan Leaf was and will never be a competitor on any market. Thirdly, I doubt if they'll be passing on the lower cost batteries to the consumer, as they are barely making a profit now, with their little price war. BYD will control that move, and I don't think they want to sell any lower than they already are. Lastly, there is no need to get a new battery in 8-10 years, as they should still be retaining 70-80% capacity. The LFP Lithium batteries will easily last 500+ kms or 20 ish years, at least, on original battery. And I'm sure I'm being conservative with 500k kms / 20 yrs. When the rest of the car can't keep up with the battery, simple repurpose it to your solar system. As I think in 10 years, most will have one .... or you're basically on idiot ... IMHO The battery pack itself would be worth more than the rest of the car. Should be a market for the motor, and rest, to the junk yard for parts -
How do you pay?
KhunLA replied to garygooner's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Me ... cash only Wife ... cash & transfer (bank app), no 3rd party apps @ EV CS ... via app wallet, or CC, and bank transfer depending on vendor, some one pay type, some all -
Most notable, would be basic whole foods, which of course rolls over the restaurant's pricing, and some possessed food products. Wages not keeping up with the rate of inflation. As far as items, considerably more expensive, price increase beyond normal inflation, would have to be land #1, that we've noticed. Good for investors, but not young couples/families wanting to build equity. Unless you buy/build a house on a decent piece of land, it's not going to appreciate very much, if at all over 5-10 years. Our house builds, profits, were all due to the land appreciations. The house itself, just break even or small profit margin. Big ticket items, contracting a builder, per m², along with auto prices really haven't kept up with inflation, surprisingly. Healthcare is pretty steady, aside from govt allowing a foreigner charge at hospitals 🙄

Does seem to be more than a few start ups, more so in CN, not exporting yet, as the market is there. As always, choose wisely. You got SAIC (MG) been around for awhile, Same as Geely/Zeekr. BYD obviously. NIO with niche market of swappable batteries, and hopefully will take off as well as their motorcycle line w/swappable batteries. Others; GAC, Changan, GWM, Chery’s Arrizo / Tiggo, Li, have all been around for quite some time, a few whole or part state owned, or simply established a good market presence in a short time. Others, waiting to make their mark. Though can't really go wrong with the top 6 auto makers from China, have decades of experience, especially with more BEV experience over the non Chinese competition. Excuse me ... wife is 48 next week, and still smoking hot, as are a few of her peers. Choose wisely 😁

Definitely the bargain of the year @ 599k. Can't see buying anything else if looking for a good B-class SUV for the family car. Checks off all the boxes for us, and should for most people. Quite the step up from JP badged 'made in TH' offerings here / TH. and less expensive than any of the 1.5L ICEVs. Prejudice is keeping a lot of people away from an all around much better vehicle, IMHbiasO You can't fix ignorance -

599k is even better, but still skeptical how many are still out there. Hoping someone steals ours, and we get a pay out of 840k, then we can hopefully find one of them, for 599k, or even 829k, and start again with -0- kms 😁 Even better, just buy one of them Pick ups when available. Though the wife isn't giving up the ZS ... no way. I'll have to sneak the pick up home, and say ... oops, honey, I thought you wanted one. After the first camping trip, she'll warm up to it. Like the BEV, after selling the 'red' one. Almost paid extra 70k just for a red BEV, but really didn't want the extra electronics & sunroof. Though great value & upgrade for only 70k, if wanting. -
@Celsius Get you nutrients (niacin) from whole foods ...

that's funny, thanks for the chuckle. Almost as good as the one I got from Iran attacks Israel thread. He answered your query, and reporting, I was obviously trolling, and get a pass

No, had video of multiple missile strikes, along with the one or two, MSM were showing, that the Iron Dome was virtually impenetrable. Actually kind of impressive, even with the missiles that made it though, as I stated in original. "not caught up yet" ... as usually, you're being silly. Have a Nice Day

Value ... depends what you are looking for, as a holiday destination or retirement destination. OP is obviously anti TH. For holiday, as a Yank, I certainly would never consider TH for a holiday. For holiday, I found no reason to leave the Americas. Only did that twice, once to visit niece in Europe (Sweden), and while on same work break, came to Phuket for some mediocre diving. If I didn't work for an airlines, I wouldn't have bothered with either trip, as both too far and too expensive, if having to pay full fare for flights. Value, depends what you are comparing to. Inexpensive beach or small mountain holidays are possible. Sometimes you get what you pay for, others, quite the bargain compared to USA pricing of accommodations. EU/UK, even worst pricing, as trip to EU/Sweden involved the most expensive, poor value hotels I ever stayed in. I can definitely understand why those folks come to TH for a holiday. For Retirement, TH is a good choice, or was 25 years ago. Not sure how it compares now. Definitely better than the USA, from talking to friends & family. Agree with OP, if having money, TH would not be a holiday or retirement choice, as the main attraction, is the lower cost of living, for me, and available, inexpensive, quality healthcare. Only negatives I find, are the pollution (water & air) and congestion, and that is location dependent. So choose wisely

At the time I posted my original post, (deleted), MSM did not state the hits, just like the post in this thread, just fall out from destroyed incoming missiles. Or hit in desolate areas, causing no major problems. Apparently enough outlets (non MSM) have reported it, that MSM can no longer, not report it. I checked most western MSM, and they were not reporting it, at the time of my original (deleted) post, or I wouldn't have posted it ... fairly obvious, not needed, if they did report the truth.

Apparently the insurance company uses a different calculator. ฿1.189M - ฿960k = ~19% ฿960k - ฿840 = another ~13% Or ฿1.189M - ฿840k = ~30% ÷ 2 = ~15% per year another 15% when renewal this month = ~฿655k I hope not, although irrelevant, as keeping it till it dies Although, at ฿655k, if total loss, only ฿174k for a new one ฿655k only ~20% less than new ฿829k price, so <7% per year -
Electric scooter inferno: Sattahip park blaze leaves metal carnage
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
No mention of make/model, or even what type of battery the scooter had; lead acid, gem, or lithium, and if so, what chemistry. Apparently it was being charge, and no mention if any modifications were made to the scooter. Guess we'll need to wait for the follow up report ... oh wait, that will never happen, especially if it wasn't a lithium battery. -

Can't answer about being flooded, as on high ground, but we just had heavy rain tonight. And well, we all know EVs can't get wet, as they explode. So I guess we'll be looking to get a Celerio this week. I just hope the insurance covers the EVs, and they don't consider it an act of GOD / BUDDHA -
Retirement 'savings' plan ... in Thailand, that's some funny ass sh!t right there. Teach them how to invest, and if Thailand, here's a hint ... ... Thai Land One thing that is guaranteed to appreciate, as they're not making any more. 55 certainly isn't too late to start, depending how long one plans on living. Wife & myself, investing in land, and about 15 yrs ago, making me 55 +/- back then ฿720k turned into ฿3M in less than 10 yrs ฿1.036M recently, has turned into ฿2.4M, last 3 ish yrs, Of course, it's always better to start earlier. Really doesn't take much to get started, just live within your means, control & manage your finance, and build equity ASAP, with all your spare money, instead of trying to impress people who don't give a rat's ass about you.

Actually they had more than a few missiles hit their target. I posted a link earlier, but since it goes against the MSM spin, it got deleted. Search other news sources besides the censored MSM, if you want to really know what happen.

If I don't need it right away, more like I can't find it, where we live, then it's online, and usually LAZ. Knowing if I don't like or not up to my expectations, I can simply send it back. Added plus, don't need to leave the house to do neither, accept or return. COD is nice of course, and being home isn't a problem. They know us so much, that if not home, they call, if not fragile, drop over the wall, and wife will transfer payment. She's even missed their call, and they send her a msg, we delivered, need to transfer money ... Yea, we order that much crap online And yet to find anything cheaper locally.
