  1. Online vendor (free delivery ??) CM ??? at least it's in country. google may help
  2. As does every doc, virologist & medical expert that speaks the truth.
  3. Buy me food & beer at the night market, and I'll talk to all night. Though no guarantees after the 3rd or 4th large beer, you'll want to talk to me, or even understand me ... 🍺
  4. Egg H&C Sandwich w/side of eggs
  5. Puppy dog my ass ... ... E-bike = Babe Magnet 😎
  6. The subsidies are already in the price you paid, and they will vary, as manufacturer has the discretion to pass on as much or little to the consumer as they want. Most are at least 100k, and up. We actually got 240k knocked off our MG ZS, and they still give that much discount off the MSRP. Not sure if MG got 240k from the govt, but that's what the price showed.
  7. NEWS FLASH ... the experimental drugs did nothing to prevent getting or spreading any pestilence.
  8. posted elsewhere in case you didn't see it ...
  9. Great, another anti RU thread. Human rights ... never happens elsewhere
  10. Have 2 Moka pots, same as OP, and one of the aluminum ones (doesn't get used). Though use the French Press (stainless steel) now, at home & while O&A, and take a water kettle with us, JIC. If wanting to use your Moka while O&A, little gas stove comes in handy...
  11. Wouldn't it be easier just to buy a better, stronger beer, if the beer flavor is what you are after. More expensive, but if your added alcohol, it may balance out, and not taste like beer with spirits added. How about a Magners cider, or them Belgium beers, probably available at Villa Markets. These all use to be available at Udon Thani at different vendors. Delerium Nocturnum, dark beer with 8.5% beer,Kasteel Donker, which is 11% Corne Tripel (10%) Delerium Red (8.5%). Also a Champagne Beer called Deus (11.5%)
  12. All my dogs (3) have been strays (2), or give away since unwanted (1), which the later was championship blood line w/papers, actual show material, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Plenty of people have a litter of pups wanting to give away. Free and now risk of coming from puppy farm.
  13. @looplaw Agree with everything @Hummin has stated, especially the lifestyle (retirement), stress free part, as once here & retired, my back issues diminished to almost non existent, unless I did something stupid to aggravate it. T12-L1 & L4 & 5 issues, actually herniated and had surgery, only to aggravated it again enough for them to suggest surgery again. No thanks, once was enough, and instead of treating the symptoms, let's treat the cause ... I retired. 24 years later, and no major issues 👍 Without the suggested surgery, that they thought was mandatory to have. For maintenance, when I'm motivated, the obvious, keep the weight off, but exercise is key, keep back & stomach muscles toned. Back is stretching, basically push-ups with knees on the ground, and raise chest as high as possible with groined pushed down as far as possible. Concave back as much as possible, then convex on the return, sitting back on you knees, chest as low as possible. A little boom booming the floor. Do about 3 sets of 10 of those. For stomach, stomach crunches (NOT sit-ups as worst thing you can do). Simply lay flat on back, cross you arm on chest, raise legs & chest, hold as long as possible. Do till you tire or it hurts .... Feel free to add some twist at the waist exercises, but with extreme care, as too much and you will aggravate your disc. Muscles build best when tired, so do any aerobics before floor exercises. I preferred low impact stationary bike, 20 mins mixed hard riding / cruising. Work up a good sweat. No need to kill yourself. If overweight, do this 1st thing in morning and the metabolism boost will stay with you most of the day. Then don't be stupid, pay people for the heavy lifting in the future. Oh year .... .... RETIRE ASAP
  14. Busy all morning, and just now, first meal. Apparently having grilled beef, with more of that butternut squash from the garden (producing way too much). Probably some leftover pepperoni pizza soon Only 2 eggs in frig ... Makro run later
  15. Tramadol is worst pain reliever I've ever taken. Have a script, and lifted something I shouldn't have last week. Strained tendon or ligament in shoulder, and tramadol didn't give any relief at all. Diazepam or beer & doobie, or all 3 would have worked much better
  16. I did state 'most' (not all) Agree, hard to eat to much 'healthy' fibrous veggies. And the garden is producing about 2 servings of asparagus every day. Running out of ideas to prepare, though fine just steamed.
  17. Emphasis on 'eating too much', and usually applies to most things. Also depends how old their info is, and what studies based on. As stated, I don't listen to any of it any more. I listen to my body, and it tells me almost immediately. Past couple months has been very eye opening, since I adjusted my diet to heavier intake of protein & fats (moderate) diet, and cutting most grains, breads (trying), carbs/starches (especially) & sugars (simple/compound). I'll only eat bread, if it's loaded up with protein & fat, like the double pepperoni pizza last night. With a walk afterwards, and makes a huge difference, what, how, when you eat,
  18. Make your own with your 'healthier' oil choice. Also I disagree with processed meats & cheeses being unhealthy, depending on which. That food pyramid is total BS, don't believe all the healthy advice they push, of carb/fiber diet with low fats (meats & fat) as being debunked all the time now. Keto & carnivore diets cut out a lot of that so called 'healthy' eating. I'm following a keto ish diet now, and when I do eat the wrong carbs, it's an immediate negative effect on my body. We truly have been brainwashed by the 'health experts', which I completely ignore now. On topic, I've yet to find much of anything, I couldn't put on bread or wrap up that didn't taste good. Use a bit of common sense, but anything you'll put on plate to eat, usually goes good on bread or wrapped in flatbread or tortilla. Homemade dressing make for a much healthier choice for condiments than unhealthy store bought slop with 20 ingredients you can't pronounce. Mayo is egg, oil, vinegar, seasoning as base, the rest is optional. Make small batches as without the chemicals, it won't last long in the frig. Same with homemade ketchup/tom. sauce. Mustard will last longer, due to PH level. Same with chili sauce. Happy Munchin' ... 🥪🥪🥪
  19. All eyes & ears ... waiting for better suggestions, for the price, that performs as well around town, for the same operating & maintenance cost. Can't beat it for knocking around town. If want top end speed and or range, you'll be spending more on something else. Hey, but 0-50 kph - 3.9 secs Got to like that, knowing it's not breaking any speed or distance records. BUT ... 320 kms charging at home @ ~5 baht per kWh =~190 THB 20k kms year = ~11.8k THB 320 kms @ 20 kpL x 16 L @ 36 baht = ~575 20k kms year = ~35,9k THB Savings 24k a year X 10 years = 240k THB 👍
  20. Living on soi 22, you wouldn't know soi cowboy exists, unless you purposely venture to it.
  21. If dog is happy where it's at, especially if a bit older, then I wouldn't bother. Thailand is not pet friendly. Especially a large dog, the heat and lack of areas for exercise, aside from the damn snakes. Traveling in country with a larger dog (>10 kg) is near impossible or expensive, and nothing for them to do where ever you take them ... oh yea, snakes again.
  22. A whole 10 ish % and you'd be in panic mode ... Suggest you get used to the idea of 33, as 30-35 has been the norm for almost the past 20 years.
  23. Do you have a better suggestion considering buy in price and operating / maintenance cost for knocking around town. I sure can't think of a better value. Or you just showing your EV / CN prejudice. I'd never own an ICEV to knock around town, or ever really. They're crap, poor performers & expensive in comparison.
  24. Don't forget discount for dash cam, and if never had an accident/claim in past so many years, may want to get the highest deductible (5k), with knocked 1800 or 1400 off. We did, and obviously the wrong move for us. Haven't had a claim in over a decade, and within 6 months ... oops. There price also included a rebate. Ours was 1400 I think, and really strange way of pricing things. You get vouchers or something, I forget, be wife used them the first week having.
