I'm cash guy at 7-11, as best way to break 1000 baht note. Needed for smaller vendors, as don't want to use up all the small notes paying with 1000 baht notes. One less transaction in my bank account makes things easier at visa extension time. My bank passbook usually has 12 or so deposits, and about 4 withdrawals for the whole year. Keeps the paperwork down ... save a tree ...

Not sure it's all about men rejecting marriage. May be more about women being self sufficient, and realizing, they don't need men as past generations thought they did. I found independent, self sufficient woman putting off marriage, family life & kids till much later, if at all. This part isn't too much of an issue ... But this is, and we turn the air purifiers on for ... Locally, we're a bit better ...

They already have one ... fire blankets. Simply need to train & utilize them, along with adding to the fire fighting budgets.

Don't know or have a desire to walk down the street naked, though have been out on our almost dead end soi naked, at present house. Also the reason for walls and lack of immediate neighbors, as not a big fan of wearing clothes, nor is the wife. The first house even had 2 outdoor showers, although one I had to not use during school rush hour, as the students on top the buses could actually see over the front wall. Suspect legacy auto / pick up truck makers here in TH, are going to get hit hard 2025 & 2026, as BEV trucks hit the market. Sales declines way beyond a simple downward economy slump. Those looking to replace or buy new will enjoy the savings & performance, of the feature packed BEVs hitting the market soon. Auto shows end of 2024 & early 2025 will give a better picture of their future. If they can keep the price at ฿1M mark or less, then it's going to take a big chunk of their (ICEV) pick up truck market share the next 2 years. That's a huge % of market/profits for the legacy pick up truck makers. Thais love their trucks ... I'm even thinking about one

No surprise, and how many politicians become millionaires, if not billionaires. Rules for us, simply don't apply to them. Another way they do it, after in office and catering to who ever needs bailing out, then getting speaking fees after out of office. Clintons & Obamas are a clear example of that. Don't know where that tidbit is from, but I disagree. Mine has moved down with adjusted diet, weight loss, the past decade, more so last 5 yrs, and just past year, with major adjustment. Highs of about 145/95 at rest, in the past. Now quite normal at rest 120/80 or lower (both #s) and knocking on 70 yrs old. HR fairly constant 60+/- at rest, over the decades past & now.

Paradise would look something like this .... ... I'm healthy ... dog is healthy ... daughter is healthy ... wife is healthy ... living in custom built house, without immediate neighbors ... have toys to play with ... independent of govt ... house solar ESS topped up ... BEV car topped up ... E-MC topped up ... Ebike topped up ... live a few minutes from the surf ... live a few minutes from the hills ... retired, don't have a schedule, and don't need to be anywhere at anytime OH WAIT ... i'm in paradise already

Finally, a break in overcast skies. Ebike charged up the other day, as takes very little. Car has been charging since 0730 hrs, and a bit before producing enough for just the house. But sunny skies all day, contrary to weather report. Just got back from the park for morning walk, and E-MC is Q'd up to charge, as car should be done within the hour, if not already. Beats making a special trip to the PTT station for petrol, as it's not on the way to anything we go to. Involves a special trip, indirectly with extra kms to get to/from. Along with no Q'ing up waiting ... and best ... paying for fuel/energy. 🌞 🌞 🌞 🌞 🌞

Neither unite nor divide, but simply make a lovely country that was once nice to live in, too expensive to enjoy life if making less than $50,000 a year. I don't know or read/heard of anyone that had to submit paperwork for the subsidy. I'm guessing one of the papers signed at dealer during the purchase may have been that form. They handled it for us. Different from the excise rebate, back in 2012 ish, when the customer had to file for their 60-100k baht rebate. I'm pretty sure our paperwork had the MSRP ฿1,189,000, then ฿240k in their somewhere for final price of ฿949k. Promo when we purchased ... Also why the total loss insured appraisal was ฿960k, as based on the MSRP. Even now the insured value is ฿840k, and a new ZS is ฿829k

Actually they do ... though some will define and call them differently. PHEV in my dictionary is definitely a hybrid, since it can operate on two different systems. HEV ... not so much, in my mind, as it can not operate on it's own, just the battery, well, not very far, since so small. #2 ... combining 2 things
