  1. If 'hell no' doesn't work, then teach her, and everything legal. If responsible, you may want her driving & in control vs pillion rider of someone you don't know.
  2. They used to hang out next to the house also, never really bother me, even a bit timid, when approached. Another herd while grazing, and they didn't care for noisy drones. Can't blame 'em.
  3. Damn, how'd I miss that ... oops THANKS
  4. Quick edit; I can't beat them in a race, but evade them long enough, so they know I'm not threat. They were just keeping the calves behind them, and giving me the stare. I've seen them race, kind of fast.
  5. We usually get a 30ct tray of eggs. Boil about 10-15, depending how fast we go through them. Older better as you say, for peeling. Problem is, the date on the eggs are added by Makro, a sticker, not a printed producer's label. So that date is really iffy, along with the tray of eggs itself. Some eggs will be fresh, nice stand up yolks, other will flatten out as soon as they hit the pan. So I usually crack eggs separately in a bowl, cooking the perky fresh ones for me, and the dog gets the others. Or I'm having an omelet ???? Knew about, but forgot, thanks for the reminder about floating eggs. Although when making Egg Nog, it's only the freshest from the tray.
  6. It's not well documented, as we only read about the ones, insurance doesn't/won't cover. And there is a standard, 900mm, I already posted. Google is your friend. If sticking to the article, nobody knows, why denied, as wasn't mentioned. But realistically, going over the balcony can only really be denied for, substances in system, which they would have access to info for, or risky behavior; sitting edge for selfie, would be anyone's best guess. What else could they possibly deny it for ? But blaming the balcony, is as unlikely a reason anyone can think of. Have a nice day
  7. 7 hrs is impressive, as I just put in Gmap, and came up with 686 kms, 9hr 27mins, leaving now. So if same trip kms wise, you were averaging 100kph almost. Best time leaving @ 1000 hr tomorrow, Saturday, 7hr 40mins without stops, even for petrol. (T21 Asok - CM walking street) map On a weekday, Tuesday, about the same time, 7hr 30min. So really too many variables for any real comparison. Yours vs my style of driving. I would not average 100kph, an any vehicle. I drive the speed limit, so 90kph, and on long drives, if lucky, when having ICE, I'd average 80kph, using time & distance, with stops With the EV, I'd stop to charge twice, 30mins each, and arrive with nice reserve, so add 1 hr to any actually driving time, minimum. 686kms ÷ 80kph = 8.6hr + 1 = 9.6 hours Though I'd probably stop more than 2X if saw something of interest. Reality, I'd probably overnight along the way. Somewhere after 5-6hrs on the road, depending on a few factors. For me, that wouldn't be much difference if in ICE or EV. I'm stepping 2 or 3 times on the way in the ICE, so that hour would stand anyway.
  8. Living almost half my adult life here, I'd say I'm just as familiar here, as I was in USA. Maybe more so here/TH. Now, I probably wouldn't recognize the place, as I look on streetview now & then, at old haunts & neighborhoods I lived, and whoa ... what a change.
  9. They way I do eggs would freak a few on here out. I like my scrambled, very loose. Sunny side up, not over easy, though I do use a fork to make sure most of the whites, is heated. Egg Nog, made with raw eggs, not cooked, not tempered in ... RAW. As fresh as possible, and may take crackin' a few to get ones I'll use. Don't know anyone, died or sick from salmonella. If remember, it's usually from outer egg shell itself, not being clean.
  10. yes, best use of leftover rice
  11. Bon Cafe beans are decent, and they offer a decaf version. Never tried decaf myself.
  12. Me ... tending to the dog and ... cooking (experimenting) ... photography, mainly birding ... drones & RC boat & cars, not so much any more ... searching interesting places to eat at or visit ... actually going to those places, whether local or requiring overnights stays while out & about Wife ... ... gardening/farming/greenhouse ... sewing, make all our clothes ... bit of a photo bug also ... cooking (experimenting) Oh yea, me again ... trolling AN ????
  13. Transport, I wish ... mine sits on my lap, requiring constant massage while there. No wonder she loves riding in the car. Refused to sit in the back. After an hour or so, she move over to the wife's lap w/bed and take a nap. Until she hears the GPS say turn left into the charging station, then she's wide awake and crying to go out for a P ???? Yes, also love the graphs, as puts things in perspective. Why I like our 'short' SUV (ZS), and after @Yellowtail reply, I peeked, and the 'tuna' is only <5cm wider than our ZS, though almost a 1/2 meter longer. Another interesting graph would be prices of 'made in TH' entry level ICE vehicles vs entry level BEVs vs entry level Japanese entry level imports. My comparisons have noticed the NETA V being cheaper than most entry level Japanese badged ICE cars 'made in TH', the MG EP being same price as top end versions of the same. Then the Japanese imports, being almost 2X the price of the MG EP. Quite the contrast, considering operating & maintenance cost of EVs. Aside from performance. When the incentives disappear, only adding 150k baht to most EVs, as only the MG ZS & EP got that 240k ish baht incentive, rest all in the 150k baht range, I really don't think it will affect the sales #s. No need for any performance graphs, as Google and fastest or most powerful cars (for a price) and EVs will top those lists. Only advantage now of ICE cars, is range, and that comes at a price, petrol vs electric.
  14. I must be living on the edge. Though most things don't last long in frig before eaten, I have eaten things, mainly meats, up to a week after cooked. Veggies do turn too quick, 2 or 3 days, and they'll start sprouting something. Fruits never last long before eaten, since snacked on while watching movies. Sauces, soups/stews used to be a problem, as wife seems to make enough for 10 people, instead of 2. Though finally got in the habit of freezing excess within a day or so.
  15. You did reply to me ... and yes, been in TH a long time, relative, and yet to see or been on a balcony I'd be able to fall over, unless as Sheryl stated, doing something really stupid. Which ins co. have a escape clause for that also. You can't fix stupid. Millions of tourist every year, don't fall off balconies ... wonder why that is ?
  16. If & when I start falling over 900mm walls, I'll start having a bit of empathy for those folks falling off balconies. Seriously, how do you fall off a balcony ? Medical episode ? Who's guessing now ? And alcohol is a drug.
  17. Yes, but I can't be bothered, as I thought my reply was self explanatory. Since I neither pay taxes nor have a student loan, anything that happens over there doesn't really concern me with exception of COLA & exchange rate. 2024 BIDEN 2024 OK, I'll answer a wee bit. They took on the debt voluntarily, not different than someone buying a car or house. Why should their debt be forgiven, and not others. Thought that was easily explained before. Everyone is living in the same economic times, deal with it. Enough with the hand outs. Apparently the SCOTUS agrees with that sentiment. Just accept it.
  18. Shy of 1/2 meter, that's long to me when trying to park. TR - 5600 (?) wheelbase of 2585mm
  19. If they did already, must have worked ???? just has a heavy thunderstorm pass through ... nice light show with it. Windy.com estimating about an 1"/2.5cm of rain of late, 10 ish days, which makes sense as we have 2 tank almost full up, shy of 4000L. That's about right for about 150m² of roof.
  20. That's one of things I like about the ZS, only 4323mm long. Really looks short when parked next to a Fortuna ???? About the only thing I didn't care for with the EP, as 4544mm long. Aside from that, they had similar specs and EP being ฿180k cheaper. What a bargain ????
  21. Spec (charging) not much different from MGs (EP, ES, MG4, ZS), so should accept any universal charging cable. Got to be cheaper than ฿25k On LAZ from ฿9k & up
  22. Every large metro is an assembly of neighborhoods, with the good and bad. Most good thankfully with few exception. GreekTown was cool in the Detroit Metro. I lived in Wayne for a long winter, a real sh!thole, but minutes from the airport where I worked. Used to go to Ann Arbor / Uni town, for fun, and a great place. Hard to beat the Uni neighborhoods for fun nights out.
  23. IMHO ... also the 14th Amendment for mandating covid vaccines.
