Photos Needed For Retirement Visa Extension
KhunLA replied to paddypower's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I've always used PP photos, I think, and they are on light background. Always accepted. Hua Hin prefers you not to use same photo in PP, or same photo they have on file from previous year. The whole photo thing is silly to begin with, as they/HH imm. take your photo when there. I used my DL photo once, as only different one I had with me, surprisingly, and had to be 10 yrs old. Mind boggling. IOs used, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Hua Hin -
No, though never ask for anything, and many times, leave the room as clean or cleaner than when checking in, since travel with a dog. We clean up pretty good. Actually travel with top sheet & broom, so no dog hair left behind If spending more than 1 night, staff never clean the room, and we simply ask to restock water & coffee/tea if provide, and soap if needed. Think most appreciate that. Tax & SC included in Hotel charge. If not shared with staff, or compensated, good motivation for them to move on to better employment opportunities. All my years of travel, never tipped hotel staff, as didn't know it was a thing, till joined travel forum, and only when in TH, which is a non tipping country most times.

For those searching torrents, that's how they are listed/downloaded on some sites, others may actually separate S1 as 2, for 5 seasons. Also the order on IMDB/4 seasons.

Alcoholics with co-exisiting sex addiction

I don't need to pay for sex, directly anyway. I would definitely check out a meeting if I ran out of partners. -
How hard is it to re-sell cars in Thailand?
KhunLA replied to Startmeup's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Economics, supply & demand for said product, You can always sell it, but is it the price you want. TH no different than worldwide, plenty of avenues to sell or buy something. Dealers will have 2nd hand folks that will probably offer the insured book value on most cars. Then haggle up from that, or sell yourself. 3 cars with haggle up with 2nd hand dealers, and last car we sold. -
Terminal 21 toilets at Bangkok are high tech, with built in remote. Direct spray, pressure, even warm air fan dryer ???? On use at home and splashing all over, just adjust the pressure. Hopefully folks wash their hands anyway, afterward. Though may be a future exercise:

Alcoholics with co-exisiting sex addiction
KhunLA replied to Andy F's topic in I Drink Too Much Forum
I give up, why do you ? Living is easy, people make it difficult. You drink too much and can't handle it, say you're addicted. Get caught cheating on you partner, say you're addicted. These are excuses, not reasons. Believe what you want ... ... UP2U -

I'm on this page "Alcoholics with co-exisiting sex addiction" Didn't know or care it's a sub forum of "I drink too much" as don't read the fine print up top of the page when replying to threads of. -
We used these, ratings of 37 & 38 from HomePro and can also find online. Rolled out on top of ceiling. Make sure it has the higher rating, as a few different ones available.

I didn't get pass ep1, almost did, but looks to be a teen soap opera. Think it was 5.6 on IMDB, and that's being kind.

Double Charging I know it exists but it is still very annoying.
KhunLA replied to Nip's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
@Nip do you not think you or your kids are contributing to the problem, by paying. If all avoided such vendors, and refused to pay, they might stop the practice. I refuse to step foot in anyplace that does dual pricing. As much for the policy, and also most aren't worth the Thai price. Since the tourist are so ignorant, I doubt if the practice will ever end. Never ending supply of suckers. -

Alcoholics with co-exisiting sex addiction
KhunLA replied to Andy F's topic in I Drink Too Much Forum
Are you sure you, and the shrinks, aren't confusing the 'feeling of failure' to have sex, or anything you desire or want to do, contributing to all those silly symptoms of unstable mental health, rather than the act of sex itself. Feeling and realizing you are a failing in the social sexual scene, added to an unstable person already, could be problem, but has nothing to do with SA. I want, I need (for whatever reason), I have ... isn't harmful to anyone, especially if it's sex. I want, I think I need, but I'm a failure, and can't seem to succeed at it ... yea, that problem is with the person, not what they think they need. AA ... if your body drinks a liter of whiskey ever day, when it wakes up, it needs to start on that bottle of whiskey as soon as possible ... that's addiction, that's harmful. Physically, and probably socially. You have sex everyday, maybe a few times a day for a month ... wake up and don't have for a week, that's not harmful to you body, or probably socially. It hurts nobody. -
'freight' train derailment ... ???? Report 7 carriages at Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, apparently today. Funny looking freighter ... wouldn't want to scare any tourist away from SRT.

I think the take away from this thread will be, IF having low usage for PEA or MEA, don't be surprised if you get visit to ask IF you have solar, along with a new digital meter. When they gave us our new meter, for new house build, they asked, 'do you have solar' and you can not see the panels from the soi or anywhere approaching the house, as roof has very little pitch to it. Whether that's the new standard question to ask with new meter install, or they guessed, or simply knew from the neighborhood chit chat, unknown. 300-400-500kWh bills dropping to <100kWh bills, doesn't take rocket scientist to figure out what's going on. Wife asked about TOU meter and was told also at that time, all new meters would be digital. 11 new constructions in last 6 months, in the neighborhood, an they all have digital meters. Anyone thinking about solar, whether having old spin back meter or not, should expect a new digital in the future. Hopefully later than sooner, but spring for the bit of extra money, and get a hybrid inverter. May want for future upgrade.

Really does depend on need & usage. If not home during the day, and want to be 'off' grid at night, then that's going to require ESSs, at about 100k for 10kWh and more than enough. Although, that's on top of the cost of inverter & panels for on grid/tie in system. That's where is starts getting expensive. But if home during the day and running ACs a lot, than that usage, no ESSs for night, the system would be inexpensive, using grid overnight. Maybe 15kWh during day, 5 or 6 overnight, which is about our usage now, without the EV. That's abusing the AC. You don't seem to use much electric, relative to us, with your low bills. If mostly daytime, then your ROI would be quick, and 5kWh system aren't expensive. If both out during the day, and most of your usage is a night, then that raises the cost of the system, and length of time for ROI.

Depends on the system. Ours cost 445k installed, and if DIY, could knock 50 or 75k off, maybe. Our PEA bills were 3-3500k a month, for 600-700kWh, at our rental, and petrol about 3k a month, so if they were to hold steady, about 6 yr ROI Due to new house build, having a hard time using 450-500kWh a month now. Today is a buffer day, as O&A yesterday, so car is still charging. A wee bit yesterday just before sunset, took ESSs down to 60% overnight, and charging EV since 0630, still got couple hours, and should be done. Just the ESSs & EV will be 40kWh, if car finishes today. If that was daily use, ROI would be real quick. At present, since midnight; produced 35kWh consumed 30kWh Doubt if EV will finish, or shall I say, I'll allow it to finish, as cloudy westward, and was even a chance of rain today. So think production will drop now. We'll need 6kWh for overnight, which actually starts soon if cloudy enough, production vs consumption goes in the negative.

Alcoholics with co-exisiting sex addiction
KhunLA replied to Andy F's topic in I Drink Too Much Forum
If you say, think so. I'm of a different opinion. Just have to agree to disagree. I easily enjoy both, with no issues: 1 moderately 1 as much I wish Others who have no will power, need to concentrate on themselves. Let the rest of us enjoy what we enjoy. -
Alcoholics with co-exisiting sex addiction
KhunLA replied to Andy F's topic in I Drink Too Much Forum
Unlike alcoholism (damage to your body), SA, if there is such a thing, isn't a problem, unless it becomes a problem. Don't think too much sex, if a thing, has ever harmed anyone, as long as consenting adults. For me, on the alcoholism issue, I think I've had about 3 beers (490ml) since mid Oct. 5 at the most, if there was 2 in the frig before I bought the last slab, as there's only 3 missing from it. And I never keep more than 2 in the frig at any time. Why I only buy a slab (12 cans) when they are fresh, as may take me 6 months to finish. Seems I sip less in the new house. Was good for about 2 beers a month prior. Going out on a limb here, and thinking 3 or 5 beers in that many months, isn't a problem. -
25+ visits to, and never asked for either. Should always have both with you, DL at least. Can't really remember ever being asked for PP in TH.
