  1. Have to wait till the future, as had good chase scene (?) in " I Robot "
  2. Why ... the fireworks along the river are spectacular, especially at ICONSIAM. I popped down to watch a few times. Time Square can't even come close. Fireworks @ CentralWorld were some of the worse that I've viewed, if thinking to, don't bother, And we stayed right across the street, primo viewing spot. They sucked. Now the riverside hotels are just too silly priced, and the congestion is maddening, even if just walking a block or two to the river. I'll just wait till available on YT this yeaar. If daughter didn't rent out her condo, that would be primo viewing.
  3. Not carnivore, but I went pretty strict Keto for about 6 months, which was actually quite easy to do. Some might even consider it was Carnivore ish. BUT, it jacked up my cholesterol to 354. Even that high, and the LDL/HDL/Trig ratios weren't that bad 5:1 & 1:1, but still too high for me. Did bring sugar levels way down, from pre diabetic range to 5.3 So I cut way back on the oils, now only Canola & beef tallow. Cutting coconut (for chocolate) and Olive oil, and cooking a lot of things in butter. Also cut back on eggs, though still 2 to 4 a day now, and cut back on higher saturated nuts, cheesecake, heavy cream. Added more fibrous veggies, and basic salad ingredients, that I didn't really eat much of. Leaner cuts of protein. Brought the cholesterol down to a respectable 194, and better ratio of LDL/HDL 3:1, Trig 2:1 Along with ApoB @ 88. Just got to figure out what works for yourself. Now just Keto ish (if giving a name) and overnight intermittent fasting, Actually took a few 6 months stretches w/blood work to find my sweet spot. Now a very easy eating lifestyle to stick with, and most important part. Takes no effort or thought, and enjoy everything we eat. Mostly whole foods, home cooking.
  4. We had to wait 5 months for delivery of our MG ZS in 2022 (May - Oct). Which was fine, as gave me time to deep dive research our choice. Still happy with ZS, and if changing, would simply buy the S5, which is the ZS replacement. Actually crossed my mind this week, but wife not that big on the idea. Only thing that impressed her, was the electric hatchback, and not willing to spend few 100k THB for She wants the IM6 ... nah, as I can think of better things to spend about 1M on
  5. Strong or weak, neither helps me any, as most of my money is already here, in THB. Monthly living expense comes in from USA, so a 10-20% fluctuation isn't going to mean much. Up or Down It all balances out over the past 25 years with highs of 45, when I bought in, (first house & car), to the lows 30, short dips under, than back to 38 recently. Surely it will hit 30, even lower, just as surely it will hit 35 again, and possibly higher. Remember, you did 'your research' before buying that ticket to Thailand now that you're here ..... ENJOY the RIDE ..... UP or DOWN .....
  6. So it was the 'Trump Effect' when it went from 45 to 29 during Bush 2 and went from 34.8 to 28.28 during Obame, that was the 'Trump Effect' also. Biden went from 38 to 34, a of drop of 4, and about the same drop during Trump 1, so Biden's drop was also the 'Trump effect' ... Got it
  7. I usually suggest the Apo B test as an add on, as a measure of health risk. As the vid below states, you can estimate this with your Lipid panel #s. Which I just did, knowing my Apo B # is 88, and close enough. One caveat, is if your Trig is very high, then a different formula. Though if your Trig that high, then you got issues As the adjusted trig #, didn't change the final # much at all. My Apo B, along with using the formula
  8. Trying to counter your extremely racist reply ... I failed Along with the 3. that I mentioned earlier, only because I knew of. Don't really follow the mayor circuit.
  9. Or he could be arrested for riding the previously stolen bike the thief left behind
  10. @transafrika Big Pharma, docs & hospitals don't have the best track record. Trust NOBODY, and due diligence is our own responsibility.
  11. Yes, risk assessment & effectiveness of drugs & vaccines is the key. Some very useful & beneficial, and many, not so much. New born ... Hep B, unless mother is infected, just silly. Uncommon common sense, injecting that into a body who's immune system hasn't developed yet. And these are supposed to be university educated doctors Experimental, unapproved for general use, untested, info about, apparently top secret, when med professional advise to stay clear of, and then their info is scrubbed from the internet, tells me to heed those warnings, along with the common knowledge I already learned over the decades. Along with the other lies told, that I know are false. Not to mention, govt & big pharma, don't have the best record of being honest. AZT and so many other drugs approved, endorsed, then removed when found out causing more harm than good. Now finding out, vaccines, not so effective, or safe, or even tested when approved & administered. Yea, they need to end and revamp the whole system of vaccinations. ENOUGH ALREADY Not so strange when looking at the data, and the more vax administered, the sicker people have become. Thank you RFK Jr, for exposing the truth. Now they can go forward with some common sense.
  12. Anesthesia more than a few times, dental, appendix (age 12) & colonoscopies, once in USA and once in TH. Knocked out for hemorrhoids, also in TH. Butt, no other vaccines, the topic. I prefer not to have surgeries while awake Nothing wrong with pharmaceuticals, when needed or wanted. I think I self prescribed enough when I was younger, then 60s & 70s were fun.
  13. Only thing after what I posted above, back in 1954, was hepatitis,2X in TH, and when single in TH, I got the Hep B shots, in between wife #3 & 4. Not a condom user, so seemed sensible And no, never the silly seasonal flu shot, though offered at work for free.
  14. I think they're actually starting to learn, the vaccines are probably the ones, killing people
  15. They charged the hell out of me that night. My county DA friend told me the FBI were interested in me He was the only lawyer I new, so I popped up the street and asked him to represent me. He couldn't, as he was prosecuting me Somehow just a couple years later, when I enlisted in the US Army, not 1 thing was on my record, go figure
  16. Xmas Day, and you're trolling them ... On topic ... 2 days and 71 yrs ago, 3 Kings walked past me .... bastards Anyway ... I was going to copy & paste what they might receive today, but wouldn't fit on 1 page ... mind boggling what is injected in kids today. Are parent's crazy ? This is one silly ass list: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/imz-schedules/child-adolescent-age.html
  17. I guess Citizen's Lives don't Matter And they keep re-electing idiots
  18. GO FLYERS ... though lost to the Canadians anyway Chester cops for me, maybe 1975, at least they were nice enough to take me to the hospital mid lock up, at change of shift. Sadly the hospital didn't keep me. With that on record, I should have sued them. Wasn't too bright back then 🙄 AN members are a bunch of damn criminals ...
  19. KhunLA replied to NE1's topic in General Topics
Try Global, though you may have to replace all 4, as never noticed the plastic ones. With that, the wheels may cost more than replacing the dolly thingy.
  20. For me, it's ~25% hit on exchange rate, and at least 100-150% on inflation, and we know how the COLA on SS are BS. LIFE is GOOD & LIVING the Dream Live with your choices @Chivas Need more money, I'm sure they are hiring teachers every semester.
  21. @Chivas I arrived, and it was almost 42 ... don't here me crying. Plan your retirement better in your next life. You can't take a 15-20% fluctuation in you finances ? Even at 30, I'll still be banking half my Soc Sec every month Sure there's more than a few that got here @ 25 - 29 and are happy it's 30+
  22. Been bouncing between 30 - 35 for the past 15 years. How is now any different ? Did you arrive during Biden administration when it hit 38
