  1. Yea, know the price is a factor, especially since we could crap out tomorrow And it is just a knock around town cars. They do look nice, as we see a lot of them when O&A.
  2. Aren't they the same ones waging wars here. Kind of makes me think, with a bunch of Christians there, Heaven would be Hell
  3. That was @BritManToo, and would go for the MG4 over the Neta. A bit more, but well worth the extra, and, lifetime battery warranty. That's pretty hard to beat.
  4. I'm all in favor of another pandemic. Even better, and don't care if the USD gets a bump up or knocked down, as 35M less tourist here would be beautiful again
  5. Me too, and he doesn't do a repeat of last administration, when we loss ~5 baht over 4 years. I really wanted Harris to win
  6. We do grow quite a bit now. Much to my neighbor's delight, as gave them a bunch of Kale last night, and green/spring onions the other day. Produce way more than we can eat. They ain't getting any figs though ... mine mine mine. Don't think we can drink enough lemon water, so they be getting them soon. Everyone should have spinach, as grows wild here. Squash, asparagus, lettuce & tomatoes are growing good. Not sure what else she has out there. More fruits, but not producing till later this year. Actually have two more lots, we're thinking about using (1/2 rai), which I might add water tanks & solar to, for us, and the folks farming the 2 or 3 lots across from ours. Since they don't have water or electric. We already put one house on our water line, and don't think we can add another, as might affect the pressure. Though we use rain water a lot, and don't have enough tanks yet to utilize all that comes off the roof. So that will change this year. 100m² of roof produces 100k liters here/PKK, and we have ~130m² of roof. Need more tanks, but nowhere to put them on the 2 lots we're using now. I think we have only 9 water tanks now. I don't virtue signal, I just do for us, and saving money, and eating healthier is always a good thing. If neighbors benefit, and throw some fruits & veggies our way, when they have extra, then what I a beautiful world we can have. Debating on chickens for eggs, but seem more hassle than worth it. Eggs are still quite cheap, and full of protein in TH, with nice dark yolks. Next think you know, I'll be getting some fishing gear Wife just went out to the garden / Greenhouse for something else. This is this mornings haul ... On Topic ... as always of course ... Elon Musk other business aside from Tesla, and taking the USA by storm ... Energy Storage with huge battery farms, and more to come. Along with Tesla Wall thingys for home & business.
  7. Don't know, so avoided, because I had no desire to find out ...
  8. I type slow ... ... fixed it for you ❤️ Toyota won't have an E pick up till end of 2025, at the earliest, and that will be made in TH. Hope you aren't anti TH as you are anti CN, although like most cars & trucks sold in SEA, will probably have parts (especially the battery) from CN. Oh well, better luck next year 😎 So, what vehicle with parts from CN are you driving now ?
  9. Yep, the "BYD Shark 6 PHEV Previewed in Thailand ... Set to arrive later in Q2 2025", or so I read. MG Maxus (BEV) will be arriving also, I believe, though suspect a bit pricey, as looking very cushy. Riddara RD6 (BEV) is available to order now, though no dealer network, but since a Geely Radar will be opening a factory here, just a matter of time before network shows up. Nice price also, starts at ฿899k. Really tempted myself (RD6), but don't need 2 BEVs, and wife ain't giving up the MG ZS.
  10. Ouch ... hmm, not a fan of VPN, though guess wouldn't hurt for short visit. Not that I use VPNs or have anything to hide. Suspect most VPNs are run by the govts, and a farce to source your info. Can't believe people fell for 'Telegram' msg service "Honey, I think we're out of tin foil"
  11. Many of the sex symbols of the past would be considered, untoned & overweight today
  12. Certainly wouldn't help their bottom line, as they are one of the largest oil producers. 30 years later, with new tech, and they appear to be waking up, and not, like you, living in the past.
  13. It's the weather. Humans haver very little, to no control at all ... IMHO But I find that those that think we do, are a bit hypocritical in the life choices, and in their minds, should consider themselves part of the problem, not the part of the solution 😎 But feel it's their right, to tell us, we (BEV & Solar owners) are wrong, and part of the problem. Go figure.
  14. If they could sell more tickets in TH, they probably would have picked a different venue. Since tickets are not expensive (for today's shows), they might even sell out, though I'd be surprised.
  15. Don't live or visit in those places. Their problems are all theirs to deal with. Some countries, even oil rich countries are waking up ... it's a work in progress, as affordable, dependable, mass produced BEV, have really just hit the market. Why I waited till 2022, to buy in. Next 5 years will be very eye opening to the haters
  16. Nah, we usually head south, and natural gas from Myanmar is used mostly. A lot of the electric in North comes from Laos. Not that I care about CO2 at all, as quite the farce. But a discussing for another thread. And it's not my fault the Thai govt is a bit behind, on their energy source, though it does seem to be a work in progress, with developing alternative. At least they are trying, and no longer let big oil control them, like in the past. Solar & BEV being quite affordable here, vs a so called developed country like USA. I'm not part of the hypocrite crowd that cry about CO2 & MMGW, but do nothing to help. I think the planet's health is fine, and will simply absorb humans as crap fertilizer, once we do ourselves in. Could do with a little less trash in the seas, at least while I'm still alive. And that ground level air pollution from all the ICEV. Those 2 are easily solvable. If people actually cared as much as I do. Saving money is my main motivation for BEV & Solar, but it's nice to know it does help a wee bit, relieving local pollution. IF only more people cared
  17. Probably not, just our local vegan troll that pops up every now & then to remind us ... "Eating animals / meat, is disgusting, cruel & murder"
  18. Yes, but supplementing might not be a bad idea, unless on a very well planned vegan diet.
  19. Crap vs crappier. I prefer fewer bubbles, and just enough to form a head. Dark, heavier, full body ales, porter / stout don't need no stinkin' bubbles. OK, maybe a few 🙄
  20. You have no interest in BEV, but continue to post nothing but negativity. Not feelin' the LOVE. Me, yep, I hate ICEV, every time I have to inhale their disgusting exhaust, every day. But I do get to chuckle at the hypocrites that cry about pollution and MMGW, still using the dino fuel & grid
  21. Not a problem, especially in my lifetime, or the life span of our BEV. Won't be needing a new car in mine or the wife's lifetime. Since CN's major players can't even keep up with the demand of BEV, don't think there is anything to worry about. In 7 or 10 years, they'll probably have new battery tech with different chemistry anyway. If they keep on using lithium, I guess they still have plenty of time to find and process it. Not even needed now. Just another 'what if' silly scenario by the haters. Feel free to keep driving those overpriced, underperforming ICEV. I prefer to move forward, while saving a lot of money 😎 Don't need the grid, or that stinkin' petrol
  22. Plenty of lithium, and yes, the ICEV will be around for a long time, in backward countries like the USA, that allow big oil to control the auto industry & grid.
  23. Indochinese Roller - Coracias affinis https://ebird.org/species/indrol3
  24. Not in the market, so don't care myself ... this is what matters And hopefully higher tariffs = higher inflation & COL
  25. 1952 ... My favorites ...
