Elon Musk: The Rise of Electric Cars is Unstoppable, Despite Trump
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You have no interest in BEV, but continue to post nothing but negativity. Not feelin' the LOVE. Me, yep, I hate ICEV, every time I have to inhale their disgusting exhaust, every day. But I do get to chuckle at the hypocrites that cry about pollution and MMGW, still using the dino fuel & grid -
Elon Musk: The Rise of Electric Cars is Unstoppable, Despite Trump
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Not a problem, especially in my lifetime, or the life span of our BEV. Won't be needing a new car in mine or the wife's lifetime. Since CN's major players can't even keep up with the demand of BEV, don't think there is anything to worry about. In 7 or 10 years, they'll probably have new battery tech with different chemistry anyway. If they keep on using lithium, I guess they still have plenty of time to find and process it. Not even needed now. Just another 'what if' silly scenario by the haters. Feel free to keep driving those overpriced, underperforming ICEV. I prefer to move forward, while saving a lot of money 😎 Don't need the grid, or that stinkin' petrol -
Elon Musk: The Rise of Electric Cars is Unstoppable, Despite Trump

Plenty of lithium, and yes, the ICEV will be around for a long time, in backward countries like the USA, that allow big oil to control the auto industry & grid. -

I don't think so. They want it 'from the bank', with a bank stamp & signature. That's what the Imm offices want why I extend. 3 different things from the bank ... ... record of deposits, (credit advice) 12 months, if doing the 65k monthly route. ... print out of yearly statement ... statement of current balance. With that, you should make a transaction and update bank book, so they again, on the day of applying or day before. Imm office dependent.

Agree on both points, verify you can use, simple 5 minute tester. And yea, Atto 3 a great BEV, as daughter has one also, and Lovin' It 👍

Midair Collision Near Reagan National Sends Plane into Potomac River
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
As much as I'm against DEI, it is a trainer, and surely there was a qualified trainer on board. After watching another vid, much clearer of the approaching chopper to the plane, I really don't understand how they could not have seen it, and avoided the collision. Everyone on board must not have been paying attention. -
That's one opinion, that all can agree with. But you do realize, I was referring to the 'false science' people quote, that is basically 'lies & garbage' as pointed out in the OP. Not the basic science the innovators used for the achievements produced over the centuries. Try not to twist my thoughts to change my obvious narrative.

Democracy is Failing the Young – No Wonder They Want Change
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Not sure democracy is failing them as much as themselves. They seem to want a bit of socialism, and everything provided for free, in USA at least. ... don't want to pay their college loans 'they' accepted to pay for ... don't want to start at the bottom of the job market, or pay scale ... they seem to want the rewards, without putting in the work or time ... want to move ahead of more senior or qualified workers, thinking the belong to a special group (DEI), oppressed like every other minority group that arrived as immigrants to the Americas, 100+ yrs ago, though have not struggled or been oppressed. -
Could Trump to Put 100 percent tariffs on Thailand?
KhunLA replied to John Drake's topic in Political Soapbox
Apologies Germany ... that should be the UK as #5, along with unnamed USA 🙄 -

Could Trump to Put 100 percent tariffs on Thailand?
KhunLA replied to John Drake's topic in Political Soapbox
Along with supplies from China, Russia, France & Germany, the 5 permanent members for the UN's Security Council, and 5 of the largest arms suppliers, keeping the world safe. Just part of the farce of the useless & self serving UN. I really wish the USA would pull out completely from UN and every other 'world' organization and world saving treaty. -

So much for the OP, and the thread. Better news source provide better info. Storm in a teacup, I think is the saying ... -

Bush - Gore - FL, it even ended up in the courts. Then he conceded 🙄 -

Great, another 'what if' ... Definitely don't want us returning, as that would be expensive on the budget, healthcare system, since we're at the age of medical oops. Sort of like the Dems thinking the 2000 & 2016 election was stolen -
We haven't encountered any issues at all at CS, with payment. It is a learning curve, but no different than getting your first credit/debit/ATM card, or simply paying online, which I still haven't mastered 🙄 Or signing up and logging in to various apps, for whatever reason Register with a few vendors, we use 2 almost exclusively, with a 3rd, and all 3 are easy to use. CS vendors offer a couple pay options, so nobody should really have problems. If at a CS and not playing nice, DO call the cust. serv ph #. I'm impatient, and just tell the wife, "come on, get in, next station" which happened 2X. She smartly ignored me, and cust serv rep reset the unit, and all good. Only 2X in say 50+, at least, stops at CS, as we get O&A quite a bit.

He's far from stupid, along with having Elon to remind him. Tesla does rely heavily on CATL & BYD. -

I equate tariffs on BRICS as about as useful as sanctions were on RU. Only people that sanctions hurt, were the UK & EU. USA & CN benefited nicely though. Same with TH, them Ruskies holidayed here, using banking from CN. USA didn't even stop buying oil & gas from RU Put a hurt on Europe though, taking out that pipeline, directly or indirectly 🙄 Y'all might think about your home countries joining BRICS yourselves, and stop being USA's lapdogs. Didn't get a kiss or KY ....
