  1. Ok, so the situation is this: 1) You ordered an item from Shopee, which the seller never shipped. 2) Somebody sent you a parcel with some random stuff inside and you paid the asked COD amount. You ask shopee for money which you paid to person 2). Why should they refund you this money, they have nothing to do with it. If the COD amount from 2) matches the order you placed on Shopee, the seller might have passed on your information to the scammer (or it might be the same person), but even if you could prove this connection, Shopee would still not be at fault. The easiest way to avoid this scam is to not pay COD, or if you do make sure that you pay for the correct parcel.
  2. I would assume that some addon/extension on is blocking some Javascript. Disable all addons/extensions in your browser, if the problem is gone enable them one by one until the problem occurs again, then you know which one is to blame.
  3. I don't think you can find something that will fit all of your criteria. 2 Bedroom condos in Bangkok in reasonable condition and not too far off usually start at 20k, for 15k you would have to be super lucky already, but you said closer to 10k.... no way. Up your budget to 20k, or look for a 1BR unit, or accept a run down condo (maybe without pool/gym) away from any bts/mrt/arl station, then you will find something.
  4. That's not the correct way to do it. You go into your orders, select the relevant order, click on refund/return and then follow the process there.
  5. How did you notify them?
  6. The first website that pops up when I google for it: https://siam.rent No experience with them, just from Google.
  7. If you would upload your pictures here on Aseannow instead of to an external website then it would be possible to see what is written there.

  9. It was always possible to get an education visa for studying Thai, no changes.
  10. The "KT Optic" shops to which I've been had such machines.
  11. She can't just start paying SS by herself. Only if she has been working and SS was paid, then upon quitting her job she can continue the payments and stay enrolled.
  12. It seems there is somewhere a rule which says 3 years, but we have had reports here on Aseannow from people who had more than 3 years of outstanding tax, and they got away with just paying the outstanding tax, no re-registration necessary. So in the end it probably varies from DLT to DLT, but considering that OP is still below 3 years he shouldn't have problems at any DLT.
  13. I was recently at a Honda dealer regarding the City e:HEV and when asked about the delivery time, he showed me an excel table showing delivery dates for the City e:HEV in different colors. From how I understand it, at this dealer it works this way: They have one City e:HEV on pre-order every week, varying colors, which I assume they pick by popularity. Then he showed me that for example the car this week, and the two cars in the next two weeks are booked already, but in 4 weeks they ordered one in grey color, which isn't booked yet, and if I wanted I could book this right away (5k Baht deposit) and would then get it in 4 weeks when it's delivered to their shop. He also explained that the red color for this car is unpopular, so they don't pre-order it. In case I wanted a red one they would require a 30k Baht deposit, and they would have to place the order at the factory, uncertain delivery date, and wait time of about 2-3 months. They probably sell more City than they do HR-V, and maybe not all Honda dealers pre-order them, but I would assume that some dealers still pre-order maybe 1 or 2 per month or so, and if you ask around you might get one. If the factory has stopped producing them at all, due to missing parts, then this would of course not work.
  14. This is a fake document. You can as well just print your own, equally useful.
  15. That they need a slope doesn't mean it has to be a 45 degree angle. You just need a very slight downwards slope of a few degrees, so that the water will flow down by gravity. Your installation looks like the blue line on the picture, but it should probably look like the green line. If you put some wire, or any other metal together with the PVC pipe in the wall you can find it with such a metal detector as you posted.
  16. If it's medically necessary (and there isn't a possible cheaper alternative treatment) it's free for every Thai (Actually 30 baht...) Every now and then a thread like yours is made here on aseannow, where some Thai tells her spouse that she has to pay for a procedure. I think it boils down to one of these reasons: - The Thai is fully aware that it's free and just wants to pocket the money. - The Thai isn't registered at the local hospital, but somewhere in their home province. Upon attending the hospital nobody ever tells them that treatment in the registered hospital is free, but just that they will have to pay for it. They don't know any better, so they tell their spouse that they have to pay. - The Thai is aware that treatment at the registered hospital (can easily be changed to the local hospital) would be free, but because their foreign spouse pays for it they can't be bothered to register at their local hospital or travel to their home province. It's not their own money so they just don't care.
  17. It basically is a Honda Wave, same engine etc. I think the deciding factor regarding which bike to choose is: Do you only ride alone, or do you plan taking passengers? On a Wave you can take a passenger and still have the under seat storage, you can even install a rack and put a top box in addition to it. With the CT125 you can't properly take a passenger with you, and if you install a box on the back there is not even space. If you only ride alone anyway, then the CT125 offers some advantages compared to a Wave: Higher ground clearance, can ride through deeper floods (this does of course depend on where you live/ride, for some people it might not matter). Easier to carry lots of stuff, and the weight distribution is better (weight not so far back) I think the CT125 looks quite cool, but that's of course just a matter of taste.
  18. I think I saw 800cc somewhere in Bangkok, but don't remember where anymore. In most places it's 300cc up, some places 500cc up, anything higher is definitely rare.
  19. They don't care about any gaps, as long as you present a current TM30 receipt when you apply for the extension.
  20. Big bikes are usually cheaper to finance than small bikes. But you still pay 20% interest per year though....
  21. Credit cards in Thailand work the same way as probably anywhere else. Don't confuse credit cards with debit cards. A credit card has a certain limit, set by the bank, depending on how much income you have, and maybe credit history etc. This is money you can borrow from the bank, and if you use it for purchases you have a certain time frame (usually 1 month, sometimes 2 months) where you don't pay interest rate on it. If at the end of this one month you pay your credit card issuing bank in full it's done, no interest due. If after this month you don't have the money, you can do a payment plan instead, in this case interest is charged. If you do a cash advance at an ATM (and not a purchase in a store), interest starts to accumulate as soon as you withdraw the money. The most basic requirement to obtain a credit card in Thailand (as a Thai citizen), is to have an income of 15k Baht (the bank wants to see income payment slips over a certain amount of time). If a Thai can provide these slips it's usually no problem for them to obtain a credit card, often the limit is also quite high, so they might get a 100k limit with their 15k/month job, and might even be able to obtain multiple cards at different banks. Neither me, nor most Thais would consider 15k Baht per month as wealthy, so I guess it's not seen as a sign of wealth.
  22. What they did in the video was not consideration for somebody's feeling (greng jai). The video was about not disturbing their neighbor with the baby. In general many Thais care very little if they are a disturbance to other people.
  23. That's a Hindu shrine, not a Buddhist shrine.
