  1. If you believe that I don't know what to say. There are so many reports of batteries not lasting that long. For any battery to last that long would be marvellous but I doubt if battery technology is sufficient to give half of what you state and that is optimistic. The type price you quote is an indication of how expensive they are and no one would take on a second hand car just knowing the price of tyres let alone anything else.
  2. Agreed but the dealers know the cost to replace parts so how much would they really be willing to offer you? I would guess not a lot.
  3. Question for you, if EV's are so good why did you sell 2 of them? You imply they last as long as an ICE vehicle so it would be reasonable to assume you would have kept them.
  4. Good for you but batteries do not last forever no matter how much you look after them and for an EV they are not cheap.
  5. Agreed you can always get a passport to get home but I would not think you could travel anywhere else but to your home country
  6. Exactly. Second hand value of EV's will be pennies. Anyone buying a second hand EV will assume that a battery replacement will be necessary and that does not come cheap, not to mention the charging time and the availability of chargers.
  7. Maybe if you grew up a discussion would be possible but as an illiterate there is no chance of that
  8. Unfortunately I do know a lot of Americans. Pity you have such a ridiculously silly attitude. I assume if you are American you are of the hill billy genre.
  9. I doubt if many even know what day it is.
  10. Maybe drugs is the name of his horse.
  11. You can get all the information from the HMRC online site. Which office are you send to? I have sent to the HMRC rercently so I Have the address if you need it.
  12. These are accepted figure. If all deaths resulting from road accidents were counted i.e. deaths in hospitals resulting from road accidents, the figures would be through the roof.
  13. True. The figures are of those unfortunate persons that die at the scene of the accident
  14. We shouldnt be but he still holds the title which may give him money
  15. Just as long as the British tax payer is not giving him money which I suspect we still are.
  16. Wise is fast and cheaper. Use Wise.
  17. Never met an Engineer as stupid as this guy. I think they really mean Technician.
  18. I have learnt how to handle heat and now I go out for 1 or 2 hours walking around taking photos. You just need to take standard precautions. Wear a hat, cover your neck and take watch with you. You will sweat of course but you will be ok.
  19. Only play one game on Linux, Sudoku and that is fine. No problems.
  20. True after all guilty by general consent
  21. He has been found guilty already so why both with a court case. I believe he is guilty but if, as is supposedly the case, that you are innocent until proven guilty, why was his visa cancelled?
  22. "Fronted by a captivating 30-second animated advertisement crafted by BBC Storyworks Commercial Productions in Singapore, the campaign promises to be a visual feast. Running from April 10 to June 15, the ad delves into the profound social and cultural significance of Songkran, featuring a bespoke animated character as the narrative linchpin – an intrepid global traveller sure to resonate with audiences of all ages." Made by the BBC it will be a disaster. They are a company totally out of touch with people. BBC could well stand for Biggest Bulls**t Company.
  23. A small amount of water is no problem but when buckets are used that is a problem.
