  1. Obviously you will need to get the dates correct. Can't you figure out anything without me spelling out every detail?
  2. Have her enroll in a community college class near where you will be staying and have relatives write an invitation letter to stay or visit them with USA address and phone number. Brings these to the interview.
  3. Fine at the airport when leaving from not doing tax returns? Nobody would know the exact tax amount, but I could see a flat fine similar to an overstay fine. Say 20k baht and you are stamped out.
  4. They don't read happy. Try reading the thread on taxation, or just any post here ????.
  5. Probably because people are already tired of all the BS and when you add more it gets a disproportionate response.
  6. They wanted to do an un-needed implant and they are the best in town. Yeah, right ????
  7. Do you mean people peeing in the pool under the water, or just wizzing in it from outside?
  8. You got audited over 8 times? Why do you think you got audited? Were you filing with a foreign address?
  9. When they start getting taxed the guys you know will enjoy it even more then they do now ????
  10. Give me that place in hawaii and i'm happy. no more complaints.
  11. Most people buy as much as they can afford. As inflation rises they get squeezed out of the place they purchased because their income dwindles and does not buy as much. If you rent you can easily move into a cheaper place if needed. Does not sound like much but we probably have years of higher inflation ahead and it has a snowball effect. It often manifests as people asking about money, family members needing loans, or wanting partners in property or business, etc. I'm hearing it already from relatives who bought 5 years ago.
  12. A lot of guys don't really want to be here. It's just the best altrrnative at the time. That's what the complaining is about. Being stuck here but not really liking it.
  13. We are headed into a global recession. The price trend for property is down. If you bought property in the last few years you're roadkill as inflation goes up.
  14. It may be a superiority complex. I can afford to live and eat better then I do, yet I gravitate to places where I don't really belong, like cheap food stalls or areas, etc. I almost never frequent venues that are equal to what I can pay. That way, I can feel kind of above others or at least different, rather then on equal footing with those around me. Superiority complexes usually compensate for some sort of perceived inferiority.
  15. Ok, understood. I will try to be around venues that have more class and people who dress better. I will try it for a month and see how it goes. Maybe I will stop feeling like I need to complain so much.
  16. Don't look at what other people are wearing. Yeah right. How do i not look at other people going about my daily life, wear sunglasses? If i go out to eat at a food stand and the guy or lady serving is wearing flip flops i have to look at probably dirty sidewalk gutter grungy feet while i'm eating. i could goto a nice restaurant at a mall instead where people are dressed nicer, but i like outdoor food stands and i don't like eating in malls.
  17. Usually the weather and I'm not an aircon guy ????????‍♂️
  18. Under Armour's are actually one of the few things that I have found here that works for me that don't get sweaty, stinky & sticky and looks decent. They are pretty pricey new though so I get them used whenever I can, especially the "heat gear" ones.
  19. I think there is a festish that involves the anus and feet. Not sure what it's called. Ask your doctor during your next exam.
  20. So what? That's probably correct. My guess is he is considering Nirun because that's what he can afford, not because it's ideal.
  21. It's difficult to live in a nice place and keep costs down if you don't sign a long term lease, however. Show up and want to stay 5 months and you end up staying in AirBnb's or small grungy condo's that never feel like home. The good properties hold out for long term tenants. Alternatively, you stay in hotels or nice accomodations for business travelers that cost much more.
  22. Curious to how it has zero hassles. I read that you need to deposit 20k usd over 50 with no pension/10k with pension for the retirement visa, under 35 yo. it jumps to 50k usd deposit & apply with a bunch of documents. sounds about the same as thailand hassles to me. are you border bouncing? https://visaguide.world/retirement-visa/philippines/
  23. How did they figure out you were not living there? Did you have a street address forwarding service? Or did they go in and look at ATM withdrawls and transfers to a Thai account?
  24. Somebody here gets it & has a brain, finally. ????
