TM30 Online Check Out Date
Felton Jarvis replied to hammered's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
There is no "check out date" if you are staying in a condominium. Since this is a required field, what does one use? I suppose I could use the date for my next extension of stay. -

US Passport Renewal Question
Felton Jarvis replied to Felton Jarvis's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Most legal offices seem to be charging 10 thousand baht, which includes the 130 USD passport fee. If Hart is charging more than that, his British competitor in Soi Buakow will continue to get the business. I won't pay more just because Ben is an American. -

I have also been made aware that Integrity Legal is opening an office in Jomtien on Soi 7, right in back of Immigration. I have an inquiry out to Ben Hart about the costs involved in the renewal of a US passport. The new office has GOT to be the most conveniently located legal office in Pattaya. -
Try to get them to remove only the stones and NOT the gall bladder. Since my gall bladder removal ten years ago, I have had a permanent case of diarrhea. The doctors will usually tell you that this is temporary, but ten years is NOT temporary in my view.

Immigration and Police Conduct Nightlife Security Sweep in Nana Area
Felton Jarvis replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Very odd how Immigration sweeps always concentrate on nightlife areas. Keep pushing and Cambodia will have all your tourists and expats. -
I see no "toxicity" or "negativity". All I see are attempts to control the way people think. If you want a true forum, let opinions flow freely. Moderators create toxicity and negativity where it does not exist. A moderated forum is not really a forum but merely a tool for control of the narrative.

Felton Jarvis replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Are you SERIOUSLY suggesting that a President could serve his term from prison? -
Trump leads Biden in 5 key battleground states: poll

Hopefully, Trump will be locked up. It won't matter who is ahead or who wins, since he can't serve from prison. -
Overstaying by hours

Get airside the previous night. Sleep in the airport. Uncomfortable but it keeps you out of jail. -

I am American and I can find NO reference to any such US Immigration rule.

Could someone explain WHY they are "hard as nails" on this subject? I am not aware of any other country where this is such an unforgivable sin.

US Passport Renewal Question
Felton Jarvis replied to Felton Jarvis's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I also contacted an American firm in Bangkok and got this response: Thank you for reaching out to Baan Thai Immigration Solutions. We do process US passport applications. If you need assistance in completing DS-28, our company can definitely assist you. Our service fee is THB 10,000 + 7% VAT. We look forward to being of assistance and thank you again for connecting with us. Best Regards, Martin David Juarez Immigration Specialist www.BTISolutions.co 208 Bangkok Building, 208 Wireless Road, Suite 1102, Lumphini Sub-district, Pathumwan District, Bangkok 10330 Basically the same price except for the 7 percent VAT. If I am not mistaken, the UK firm said they could do it for 5000 baht since I had already paid my Embassy fee. I'm going to double check this and be sure before I proceed. All things being equal, this could be better for someone who lives in Bangkok rather than Pattaya. -

I had the same problem. I couldn't order anything because I kept getting arcane messages in Thai, which I couldn't read. -

I can't seem to determine the exact address for this company. Did you say it was in Soi Buakow? -
US Passport Renewal Question
Felton Jarvis replied to Felton Jarvis's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I heard from the guy at the agency you recommended and he seemed to be saying that I could pay 5000 baht, to have them process my passport renewal. It was difficult to talk to someone who seemed hostile and disinterested.
