I know exactly what I am writing, thankyou. Antisemitism, as such, is not a criminal offence. The law does not punish people for holding thoughts or beliefs, however unpleasant these may be. The same applies to Holocaust denial and criticism of Israel. It is only when people start to act on those thoughts or beliefs that the law steps in. It punishes actions rather than attitudes.

Sadly this post is only regurgitating old news, at the end of the link is this statement: Gideon Falter, chief executive of the Campaign Against Antisemitism and the man at the heart of this debate, will be speaking to Sky News at around 9.20am today. Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNC3-KWafPs&t=53s&ab_channel=SkyNews Shame that Gideon Falter, chief executive of the Campaign Against Antisemitism and the man at the heart of this debate, then preceded to open his Jewish mouth, and tried eating his Jewish foot.

Especially for you: Is antisemitism a crime? Antisemitism, as such, is not a criminal offence. The law does not punish people for holding thoughts or beliefs, however unpleasant these may be. The same applies to Holocaust denial and criticism of Israel. It is only when people start to act on those thoughts or beliefs that the law steps in. It punishes actions rather than attitudes. But the dividing line is not always clear and suspects may be allowed some leeway. A lot may depend on how prosecutors choose to exercise the discretion that the law gives them. Some of the crimes committed by antisemites — such as assault — may be committed by anybody and for any reason. But if criminals are motivated by hatred of Jews, they may be be punished more severely than other offenders. This guide looks at some of the charges that may be brought against people who commit antisemitic acts. But we begin with a warning. Many crimes are never investigated by the police. Many of the crimes that the police investigate never get as far as a prosecution. Many prosecutions collapse without anyone being convicted. And many convicted offenders receive sentences that their victims regard as lenient. Even if you have been the victim of an offence listed in this guide, you may feel that justice has not been done in your case. Campaign Against Antisemitism helps victims and witnesses of antisemitic incidents to secure justice. One more warning: the law is very complicated and this guide has tried to make it easier to understand. In simplifying it, we have left out refinements and possible defences that may make all the difference in an individual case. We have shown you where to look for more information but you would be wise not to proceed without proper legal advice from a solicitor or barrister. https://antisemitism.org/law/introduction/#is-antisemitism-a-crime

Yeah, I know. Arrests at pro-Palestine protests in London attended by millions of people last year resulted in just 36 charges – despite attempts by senior politicians to label them as “mass extremism” and “openly criminal”. The low number of actual arrests and prosecutions undermines the narrative, pushed by senior Tory leaders, that the protests are a danger to public safety. Home secretary James Cleverly said last week that the organisers possessed “real evil intent”, and his predecessor Suella Braverman today repeated her frequent calls for the weekly marches to be banned. But despite the vast numbers of police deployed around the protests at a cost of £22m, officers appear only to have been able to find a handful of instances of wrongdoing. A number of charges were brought under the new Public Order Act while seven people were charged with assault and three with possession of a weapon. Cleverly told the Jewish News last week that the police were now making “significant arrests” for antisemitic hate crimes at the marches. Yet data published by Operation Brocks, which the Met calls its “response to the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza and its impact on London”, reveals that between October and the end of December, there were only 153 arrests – with the majority of people, 117, being released without charge. https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/palestine-gaza-protests-arrests-metropolitan-police-suella-braverman-glastonbury/

If he has an agenda, you're having a laugh, Mark Rowland resigning over this, no chance, pro-Palestinian marches being cancelled, the UK government wouldn't dare there would be uproar on the streets, terrorists on these marches, so funny, less arrests over the 6 months of this than at a 3rd division football match.

Yes, he is a Jew clearly, a Jew with an agenda that was great one day but then it all fell apart. Yes, loads of Jewish people on these marches from day one, no there isn't says Falter, then it's toy's out of the pram time, man's a charlatan who got found wanting on all counts. From the river to the sea, everyone should be free.

I've been searching high and low for any normal Jews in London who feel threatened or discriminated against, to no avail. So I've concluded it is only the Israeli propagandists who have a problem, whilst they are pushing the Israeli stories, bit of bad luck their having as the vast majority don't agree with them.

In the Sky News footage, the activist insisted he was only trying to cross the road down which the demonstration was passing, but this is disputed by an officer in the new footage, who said Mr Falter had deliberately walked head-on into the crowd and accused him of being "disingenuous" and seeking to "antagonise" the marchers. Sky News has decided not to identify the officer. Extended exchange As emotions continue to run high over the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, the Sky News footage shows a Met police sergeant explaining to Mr Falter that it was a "big demonstration" and barring his way to the march. When Mr Falter asked if it was because he is Jewish, the officer nods and says "unfortunately". The officer said: "Unfortunately, sir you took it upon yourself to go from the pavement right into the middle of a pro-Palestinian march, which is why I asked you to go away." He added: "You are looking to try and antagonise this." "So I can already see what your mindset is, sir." https://news.sky.com/story/sky-news-footage-reveals-new-details-of-exchange-between-police-and-antisemitism-campaigner-called-openly-jewish-13120104

Moment Debate | Should UNRWA be shut down?
Jeff the Chef replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
Yeah, yeah, yeah this is about should UNRWA be shut-down not what happened on the 7/10. The one and only reason Israel wants rid of UNRWA is the "right of return" which is in their charter through the UN, anything else is waffle and propaganda by Israel.
