  1. I was wondering what VFE was as not mentioned by immigration or Thai consulates. Why not just say visa exempt instead of making up your own acronym?
  2. This is only 60 weeks in 3 years. I have done more than that in the last 2 years and that's only using visa exempt entries (last trip was SETV as was thinking my time might come). I was about to apply for a SETV again but its rules clearly state "for tourism purposes only" so your case means they can just say I'm obviously not a tourist so SETV invalid. I might as well just go again on visa exempt and save the hassle and cost of SETV My only hope is that you made a mistake of selecting a female IO which many people on here say to never do 😉 Oh yeah, my mind is blown that they are allowed to write "Next time need apply non-immigrant visa" in your passport. What if next time is in a years time? If they wanted to stop you using METV surely they should have cancelled it?
  3. Two soldiers at two different locations told you no entry. What part of no entry don't you understand 😆
  4. I did 3 30 day extensions last year and all were done more than 2 weeks before expiry. Last one was in Oct though. Hoping this one day before crap is just a high season thing and will get back to normal soon
  5. Seems like a lot of hassle for a $100 bicycle. How much are you expecting to pay as even at 5 baht per day you have paid for the bike again in the 2 years stored. Just sell it for whatever you can get
  6. Everything I read online says the new 90 day e-visa cannot be extended. Says you need to leave and come back with new e-visa
  7. I always thought US, Australia and New Zealand need visa's as Vietnam is not ready to forget the war yet, even though it's been 50 years 😉 Assuming OP is from one of the 13 countries that get a 45 day visa exempt entry: Belarus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Russia and UK OP spending 30-45 days in Vietnam before re-entering Thailand again sounds like a plan to me (get a Thai tourist visa there). As Asian neighbour's get 30 days visa exempt OP can also fly his Thai GF in easily
  8. Has anyone tried the online appointment system for the 30 day extension? I think you select "Tourism" for 30 day extension (assume "short-term extension" is likely to be the 60 day to visit wife?) Currently has a 8 day lead time for appointment (can book Mon 12 Feb)
  9. Pretty simple? Place next to 5 star bar was empty so they leased it and turned into the 2nd Beer Hub 😀
  10. Well since they both lost their fans are losers... Go 49ers 😀
  11. I'm sorry I ever gave you the nams recommendation now as you come across as a complete sleaze
  12. You have to go to the info desk Queue to get documents check and ticket
  13. Jomtien doesn't ask for flight tickets
  14. Nams is pretty good https://www.namstaxipattaya.com/contact
  15. Speaking as a Landlord I would be extremely pissed off if a Tennant just went ahead and changed anything without asking. Maybe my bum gun cost 1200 and he just changed it for a cheapo 200 baht version (I would then replace again out of bond money). Maybe he makes water damage because he doesn't know what he's doing or the valve leaks. Like most countries, Landlord is responsible for any ongoing maintenance and I'd assume most of us would prefer it that way to keep control of how our condo looks
  16. Wow, didn't think you'd have to book a place. Thought it was get in early to get a seat and that's it Witherspoons, Hemmingways, I-Rovers, Metro Bar are the main 4 I would go to if Frasers not available
  17. All of them. That's what sports bars do 😉 It's not a matter of finding a bar showing it, just go to the sports bar you like best and it'll be on
  18. The Aussie issued non-O (Retirement) requires 90 day health insurance, however the non-O (Marriage) does not. Go figure? OP why wouldn't you just enter on non-O to get 90 days and then pay 1000 baht for a re-entry permit (which you can get at the airport or local immigration)
  19. The 30 days includes arrival and departure days. So if you arrive 31 Jan you would need to leave by 29 Feb (stamped out by immigration before midnight on 29th)
  20. Have you ever been to a Pattaya Pharmacy? I ran out of prescription meds so googled it, took a screen shot to show at counter and was sold it immediately without any questions or even discussion I've also Google doctored my own symptoms and got meds same way with no questions
  21. TM6 arrival card hasn't been required at airports for over 18 months now (still required at land borders)
  22. As there's doubt over what it means for people on a long term visa, who would be stupid enough to risk using them? Just leave them for tourists who have nothing to lose. How are they even worth it anyway as it's only for departure and I've never had a huge wait lining up for IO. Line should be even less with tourists using the self check gates
  23. Well considering the last post of that thread was only 2 weeks ago you may get the same "nobody knows" Anyway, if foreigners can only use them for departure (as stated above) and there's doubt over invalidating the re-entry permit, why would anyone on long term visa risk using them? Just leave them for the tourists
  24. This recent thread may help (or maybe not)
  25. That's why I said "complete a TM7 form & attach photo"
