  1. If you're referring to update in your other thread it said March 21, 00.00 to 00:30 am so its not tonight, it should have already happened 15 hours ago?
  2. The screenshot kiwifarang posted in OP is not the NZ embassy website, it is the global e-visa application site. Next step is give credit card to pay the NZ$300
  3. I still think the NZ fees are just a stupid mistake. The Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) website lists all visa fees and country embassies and consulates then have a [very bad] exchange rate conversion. MFA fees vs $A Tourist visa - 1000 baht = A$60 Non-imm O (single) - 2000 baht = A$120 Non-imm O (multi) - 5000 baht = A$300 So Aus is using 1000 baht = A$60. For some unknown reason NZ is using 1000 baht = NZ$300 as conversion? https://www.mfa.go.th/en/publicservice/5d5bcc2615e39c306000a316
  4. So they're just letting you know the system will be down for 30 minutes so don't submit during that time. Did you really need a thread about them doing 30 minutes of maintenance?
  5. I just submitted my non-imm O application via Canberra e-visa (NSW must apply Sydney, all other States Canberra). I can confirm insurance no longer required and only need copies of: (1) Passport Bio Data (2) Passport photo (3) Aus bank statement (4) proof of Aus address (licence or elec). Note: application only accepts one document per slot so had to put both sides of licence on one page You need to nominate arrival flight and date of departure (I just made up dates for 90 day stay). You also need to state accommodation address and phone number in Thailand. Cost was A$120 and not having to ever send passport this is much easier than my alternative of applying in Jomtien (took about 20 minutes to scan docs and apply)
  6. That screenshot is the only non-imm O requirements info on Sydney and Canberra websites (as part of e-visa application)
  7. One word....Jomtien 😉 Plus makes it much easier for people that don't yet have a Thai bank account
  8. Previously getting a non-imm O from Australia required 90 days insurance from an approved Thai company (unlike the rest of the World) With the new e-visa application system that commenced yesterday it appears insurance is no longer required for a non-imm O. I've progressed the online application up to submit stage and no insurance was requested. This is great news for Australians as I found none of the Thai insurance companies did 90 day insurance anyway (minimum 1 year for O-A and O-X visa) The site only lists the following requirements.
  9. The list of fees I provided is included on the new e-visa info page so no the fees are not invalidated. Tourist E-visa is listed at $60 https://sydney.thaiembassy.org/en/content/visa-information-visa-fees
  10. Sydney released the new e-visa system today and they included a list of all the visa fees. No change, still $60 for a tourist visa
  11. As advertised for the 19th, it's open now in Sydney and Canberra Unlike the Kiwi's, prices have not changed from previous
  12. But you also do not need to register and file a tax return if you have <120,000 baht Thai assessable income in a calendar year. So he can stay 365 days without submitting a tax return if he wants.
  13. As said above, e-visa not an option in Australia (or New Zealand). They start using it from 19th March
  14. I've never had a formal IQ test but as a 14 year old testing for the Air Force they said I had the highest ever IQ score....hence always seen as arrogant like you say...wasn't though, just being me
  15. Or the most ridiculous statement ever by a CEO who should be smarter than everyone else to land the CEO Job?
  16. Anyway, I said it could be alcohol related in OP, I think confirmed I'm missing a few brain functions now (took way too long to remove name from certificate)
  17. Why would you be thankful you are not smart enough to be Golden Key worthy? Nice certificate (had to cut in half to remove my name)
  18. Out of interest is anyone else a "Golden Key Society Member". I know Bill Clinton is but doubt he'd be on the forum?
  19. You do know your phone changes your spelling right? Asean now seems to constantly change to bad spelling. Changes to how most people spell it. So many people say Looser instead of Loser and Boarder instead of Border....stuffs up the spell checker
  20. Deleted: I wrote nice post but immediately got confused/sad emoji so I'm out
  21. Retiring early for me meant I lost a huge network of friends and routine. I think now only retire if you hate your job, doesn't matter how much $ you have
