Tourist visa to stay over 30 days ??
Pattaya57 replied to georgegeorgia's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You won't have a tourist visa. You will get a 30 day visa exempt stamp on entry which you can then extend for 30 days at Jomtien. Since you asked for an agent, Maneerat agency on soi 13/2 can do it. Not sure but I think it costs 4500 which obviously includes the 1900 immigration fee -
Tourist visa to stay over 30 days ??
Pattaya57 replied to georgegeorgia's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP you have posted constantly for months in the Pattaya forum that you'll be staying in Pattaya for this whole trip. If so you need to go to Jomtien immigration for your 30 day extension, not Bangkok. -
Despite your arrogance in responses, the fact you have to come on a forum to ask random people how to set up your business does not bode well for your success

30-day Extension to Visa Exempt Entryโ
Pattaya57 replied to Skeptic7's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
For a 30 day extension of a visa exempt he doesn't need the last 2 items about his wife -

Depositing 800k for retirement extension
Pattaya57 replied to Issanraider's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Are you seriously advising someone to walk around with ยฃ22,000 cash on them while they fly from UK to Bangkok and then travel to Khon Kean? That would be madness.... -
I hope you bought a new remote first? They're about 200-300 baht in Tukcom basement electronics store. I've replaced 3 of my LG remotes with these after they stopped connecting and they're all still working fine years later

That's 1 more report than the opposite as you have zero reports of someone actually losing their re-entry permit after exiting using the automated departure gates. You also remain the only person saying they saw the sign you mentioned in OP If this was real there would be loads of people being caught out and it would be blasted all over the place on social media

120+ day stay possible?
Pattaya57 replied to pinkbob's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I just did a 60 day tourist visa + 30 day extension + same day Cambodia border van run for a 30 day visa exempt = 120 days. Could have easily done another 30 day extension at local immigration to make 150 days -
Mine are 14 years old, and had the 4 serviced last year for first time, tech said gas was good. If he's needing re-gas after 2 1/2 years he has a leak or it's a scam

These are the points of your rant that seem to matter. You claim you were arrested but 5 minutes of chatting later they let you in Definitely not arrested so what's the big deal?

Non-imm O from Australia
Pattaya57 replied to Pattaya57's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Being used to visa exempt entries or a hard tourist visa in passport I just realised that I haven't shown the emailed non-imm O proper respect. Had it a week and still hadn't saved it to laptop or printed it out so if I lose that email it's gone. Just printed 2 copies ๐ -
Do you think 57 is an old man that needs a cane? I'm speaking from experience. When I got actively involved I loved it and had a great time with wet Thai girls everywhere. When I didn't get actively involved I hated it so for me better to just stay home for a week (early morning walks and night time were still okay)

Have you run out of thread ideas? You already did this last October but you were only a witness to someone choking then. Now you helped him and he abused you. Nice story change ๐

Re-Entry Permit Warning
Pattaya57 replied to mikebell's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Seems more like a warning of don't be stupid. Of course a re-entry permit is only stamped until current permission of stay -
Non-imm O from Australia
Pattaya57 replied to Pattaya57's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I went "other visa" then selected non-imm O. Application only required passport page, passport photo, driver's licence and 6 month bank statement -
I found that to survive Songkran you have 2 choices. Lock yourself in your condo or go all in and enjoy yourself with water guns blazing. Other option of getting pissed off if people spray you is not really an option

OP links one of his previous threads that this started for him in October last year. Here's my October extension applied 10 Oct with expiry 27 Oct so 17 days before as I've always done last 6 years. This is why I think it's just him as he's been on back to back visa exempts for a year so may be treated differently?
