    25 years ago.A broken down alki brickie , 50 years old living at Mums. Found Thailand in 2005 and never had a drink since. I explain it to anyone who cares to listen that i was older when i first came here than i am now.

    I came in 2005 too and the baht bus fare was 5 baht to Thais. 10 baht to farangs. If you were thick skinned enough,5 baht and walk away rapido. I agree though,great value.

    Just another example of how the government treats its previous tax payers. The UK is a living hell-hole now so to find a happy and peaceful life here is a massive compensation.
