  1. I'm not seeing any genocidal intentions from the Israelis. I am seeing boatloads of genocidal intentions from Hamas and all the people chanting River to the Sea.
  2. That's an option but I don't bother unless I happen to much further up the street towards Jomtien to start with. If it's any consolation the people watching on the queue buses sometimes has it's charms.
  3. The front bus setup makes sense for the drivers. They don't need to back up for it. But I was shocked the first time as I sat down on the back bus and so did some others, and it took about ten minutes to be told to get off. But now I know and hopefully everyone reading this topic knows too if they didn't already.
  4. Their country, their rules. I always do my extensions late afternoon and always need to come in next day to pick up my passport.
  5. No need for confirmation. We already know what they are. Yes Israel's goals no matter how difficult are correct to at least deeply weaken their military and governmental capabilities. The after that will be very tricky, but one step at a time.
  6. I'm not religious and I could care less about whatever game you're playing now.
  7. Living in peace next to a place where the government wants to murder all Jews is a bit of a stretch.
  8. Yes but it's not as if Israel has anywhere near total control about what happens to the hostages. Man plans. God laughs.
  9. I get what you're saying but I really think October 7 shook up all previous assumptions. They'll try very hard of course but I can't believe anyone believes their efforts will be fully successful. Look at the ceasefire question. Some would argue Israel going along with that increases the hostages chances. Not sure if that is true but Israel still has very good reasons not to agree. So it's not a black and white thing in practical reality
  10. They care but they know they're going to lose some or most of them regardless. Surely some of the bombs going after targets has hit some already.
  11. I wouldn't have used them in my 20s.
  12. It usually goes as far as North Pattaya road. 10 baht.
  13. Of course. That's how they roll. Off heads. Unfortunately Israel can't afford to prioritize the hostage lives as much as their families understandably wish. Another case of war is hell.
  14. Islamic genocidal barbaric terrorists.
  15. Much more dangerous than a bus so no thank you.
  16. Israel is at war for the survival of their nation state. They are surrounded by hostile enemies on three sides (with support from Iran). War is hell but Hamas started this war and Israel didn’t want it but now they must fight it. Israel must make many hard war time decisions and trade offs including about hostages and human shields of legit targets. In the fog of war Israel will make some mistakes, some horrible. But a war is not a garden party Hamas chose this war.
  17. Again the rule now is board at the front bus not the back bus.
  18. Israel isn't a theocracy either. Israel is responding to a barbaric terrorist massacre just as any country would do.
  19. Blast from the past! Many will remember this lovely young lady. What a gem. I agree with her that the west bank settlements are illegal. However, Tamimi: 'We will drink your blood, what Hitler did to you was a joke' - The Jerusalem Post (jpost.com)
  20. As I expected -- you don't know because you don't use that queue. I know because I do use it. You may have seen a group charter or you may have seen people that didn't know the new system and just boarded. I did that myself once before I learned the new system. Again -- you are wrong and people should ignore you on this. Again -- if you stay on the bus from beach road and you get "lucky" that they're going in the direction of Jomtien the bus may turn in a different direction before it even gets to Jomtien. Yes that has happened to me.
