  1. Yeah i thought that too because some misinformed peeps told me so. Went in to pay my car tax after having gotten two tickets, and not a peep about it. Paid the tax without paying the fines. No problemo
  2. Maybe if we could just shut all these people up we could get our safe and effective narrative back
  3. The sheep are like “but the covid vaccine didn’t cause me any problems, in fact I can’t even… oh <deleted> my hand is getting a tremor, I forgot what I was gonna say…”
  4. It seems a number of these senators seem to believe the virus was created in a lab. I wonder what ever could have given them that crazy idea.
  5. This is what a victory for the people often looks like: guy does nothing wrong, rots for 15 years and a lesson is taught to all other journalists to never tell the truth, and he finally gets out and who knows what on earth can happen to him now, but yeah… huge “victory”.
  6. Oh to answer your question, nothing happens. Nothing. Ever. Listen to nobody they will lie to you.
  7. Don’t pay it. Never pay. Ever.
  8. The problem with learning languages is they teach them completely wrong. Don’t even get me started on thai “teaching” courses. It would seriosuly be so easy to create an effective language learning course I find it would be laughably easy yet nobody does it.
  9. It is seriously so ridiculous I find it completely unbearable. Money, cars, cologne. It’s all manipulated selection from corporations. Think about it, women like exactly what benefits corporations. That’s not the way it would be if women just came out of the womb and naturally selected partners
  10. The funny part about this is the “argument” they used in this case was the same exact “argument” that is used right here in this forum. The evidence they tried to use that the vaccine does stop transmission was the cdc’s website. And of course any reasonable judge will tell them you can’t do that, you actually have to prove it stops transmission.
  11. I had this too. Bought laptop the largest shop in thailand. They fixed it but I believe the repair shop either broke some other parts and or the other parts were no good to begin with. It’s the shop that starts with a B, I will never go there again. I used to be a good customer. Screw them and the asus lemon they sold me. I think what happens is asia gets laptops that have been mixed and matched from units that did not pass quality control tests to go to countries like usa and Australia and u can get a complete pls lemon here and they don’t care at all.
  12. There is a chocolate bread in the bread section that is surprisingly good. It’s about the best chocolate I’ve had in Thailand
  13. High praise for the man judging by your views on covid
  14. This topic about free seats on flights intrigues me because many times impudent people will take it upon themselves to switch seats once they have perused the area and located empty seats. I’ve always thought people should not be able to change from their original seat and wonder what would happen if I asked a flight attendant about it… for example if someone sat next to me and I knew that was not their original seat, which I have had happen before. In the case of buying 2 seats I suppose you’d have to stave these people off from taking the seat you have actually paid for. I wonder how that would work. Seems to me if there’s any question one should have to produce a ticket with the seat number on it to sit in any specific seat
  15. Even if that’s true I would not count on it 100%. There’s no way if a person wants to pay top dollar they are letting that seat go unfilled. Or in an emergency, So no, it’s not that simple. And I think it’s foolish to buy 2 seats for those reasons, along with a few others I can think of
  16. Just out of sheer morbid curiosity. Let’s say someone goes on a camping trip. Maybe it’s kinda back country stuff. Leaves his province of residence. Is he supposed to tm30 the entire thing?
  17. I’ll move to the PI. A place that seems to be more welcoming. I am quite astonished about every 3 months how difficult they make all this for people actually married to thai citizens. Over it. Spread my dollars to a country that cares for 2/3 of the year or something
  18. Thanks. Maybe the mods will move it. I don’t know which connector would be the right one. Honestly I think I’m better off getting the larger tank seems it would be easier. I think there is a 7kg
  19. Thai men are plowing all the hot Thai women
  20. I don’t believe that. Because if I buy a ticket for a plane right now, and I don’t show up to the flight, they are going to sell my seat. I would say the same would happen to you: booked flight they are going to sell any “unused” seat they have available. And yes a passenger with the same name on two seats and only one of them checking in would trigger that system. Idk maybe I’m wrong but they are in the business of selling open seats.
  21. Do any of you LPG experts know: I bought a small 4kg LPG tank, and to my surprise when I got home it has a different sized connection than all the other larger tanks. If you look at the pic below that’s the size I need to connect to. But the small tank I bought that won’t fit, the opening on the small 4kg tank is way too small. I guess I bought the wrong tanks, wondering if there is an adapter or more likely maybe I should just go swap the tank for a bigger one. I just have trouble communicating with them so was wondering if there’s an adapter.
  22. Most people don’t understand what getting a marriage extension actually means when you do it by the book. Because in places like Pattaya and bangkok they simply cannot do it they don’t have the manpower. This may be true in many places actually, even out in the sticks idk. But where I live they go exactly by the book. They come to your house. They do all sorts of weird stuff with the pictures. I even got turned down once because, wait for it… an no I’m not even joking, we were smiling. So we had to go redo our application because you can’t smile in the pictures supposedly. By the book checks can also entail an interview with a family member. So you must ask your mother in law for example to take off work and travel a day one way to get to the location. It’s an absolute abomination and I know for a fact people don’t even know about these “by the book” applications because I can’t think of many who would put up with it all. I certainly will never get one again I do 1 year multiple non o and enter exit country every 3 months.
  23. And it just gets more difficult. Never easier. i was advised by a io that I somehow managed to gain some report with that I should just switch to a retirement visa. He’s basically saying without the exact words “yeah, we screw married couples, retirement visa is so much easier”. But why? The answer reminds me of crime in the United States. The government always imposes its will on you in the name of fighting crime. Erodes your freedoms. In other words, citizens pay for govt ineptitude. same deal here. Do some take advantage of the marriage visa regulations? I’m sure they do. But why on earth make that legitimate peoples problem?
