My comment was about Thai drivers' penchant for ignoring such niceties as tax disc (insurance); and licences which is one of the most popular avoidance in road crimes. It might also interest you to know that over 90% of traffic fines are unpaid. (Guess which nationality is most responsible for this.) If you run your eye down the responses, you might just notice your reply is out of step with most farang contributions.

Agreed. You go through security at BKK & land anywhere. Surely you are already sanitised and, if kept separate from locals, should not need further scrutiny. I stopped going through Taipei because this 2nd scrutiny added too much hassle to my trip.
