  1. Eventually. Even when forced to do their job, RTP are as useful as chocolate teapots. They stood meekly by as a mob took over proceedings invading the shop despite their ineffectual presence.
  2. Never say never. I bought my 1st car when the UKP was at 73 (20 years ago.) My 1st house & furnishings quickly followed; then designer clothes (not copies). Now I rent; my car is 8 years old and I only dine out on special occasions. I still think coming here was the best decision I have ever made.
  3. It is of benefit to ex-pats importing their own currency in baht. We then may feel the need to dine out or buy a little luxury item which may help local Thais. Can't see any of my relatives in UK jumping on expensively priced planes until the baht is at 70+ (to UKP) again.
  4. Very true but unless RTP intervene, things will never change. They could start on the motor ways and arrest the speedsters but I never see a cop car when using the 7 to Bangkok.
  5. Seems clear to me too. Without a police force to curb speedsters, this happens daily.
  6. I find it very easy. Remember the chosen elite are given a Get-Out-Of-Jail/Army card. What's left are the dregs.
  7. Why do they get to never use their meters? Because the other mafia say it's OK.
  8. CCTV seems to make their life easier. If they used it more often it might deter criminals from committing offences; like speeding; running red lights; not stopping at zebra crossings.
  9. I was staggered by the headline in praise of Pattaya police. Having read the story, I am full of praise for the two officers who are a credit to what a police force should look like, whilst showing up, in stark relief, the remainder of the shirkers.
  10. Parking at the airport is a ludicrous affair. I waited in a queue for over an hour to get into the carpark (before I gave up.) It looked like they were full and you only got in when someone else left.
  11. Including the police? That might galvanise them into doing something.
  12. or his windscreen was covered in flour & water paste; another hilarious and dangerous off-shoot of this waste-of-water festival. Soon be drought season.
  13. RTP don't believe in preventative policing. They merely react ... sometimes.
  14. Of late? I don't get out much (3 or 4 times a week.) Spotting a cop is a rare sight.
  15. Thanks for this. I have no trouble getting into TPB. I could only find 1 episode of this show. Trying again today, there are 5 (I think the complete series?) which are happily downloading (tho' only a couple of seeders.) My VPN is set to Singapore.
  16. Both the officers AND Wang were struggling to stay awake.
  17. This site can’t be reached The webpage at https://torrentgalaxy.hair/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR
  18. 'The Narrow Road to the Deep North' is getting rave revues yet I can only find E1 (of 5?) on TPB. (And only 1 seeder!)
  19. Another nail in the coffin of RTP's reputation. Thailand will always be a 3rd World country until they reform the police.
