  1. That's what I thought, a house that can time travel.
  2. 'Good hotdog'...... Isn't that an oxymoron?
  3. That is true but I have always called it a 'Nursing Home'.
  4. Either that house knows how to time travel or you need to learn how to set the date/time stamp on your camera.
  5. I think you meant to say, tree fiddy....
  6. About this big, does that help?
  7. How big is a 'cube'? Is it one cubic meter (1m x 1m x 1m)?
  8. Can anyone tell me the approximate cost of gravel, per ton? Around 1" (2.5cm) in diameter.
  9. I agree with the buffets. It was a buffet (at a popular US casino) where I obtained my only bout of food poisoning many years ago. And I'm surprised with all the places I eaten at and strange things I've eaten over the years living in Thailand and China that I haven't gotten ill again. You've never been to a Dunkin Donuts or Mister Donut where it was 'help yourself'? Or at other places where French breads and other bakery items were in bags not completely closed? ......and to add, you never received a polio, measles, chickenpox or other vaccination? If memory serves me right I had to obtain a Yellow Fever vaccination many years ago (more than 30) when I first came to Thailand on a Business Visa.
  10. I only mentioned meat..... but that's ok if you want to cook the bread and donuts you want to buy too..... ???? I do understand what you state but why do you get vaccinations? Just let your body work it out...... LOL
  11. What's the problem? Typical throughout Thailand. A few weeks ago I moved to a new rental location. There was already a nice Internet fiber cable coming into the house. I asked the landlord if they could ask the previous tenant which Internet provider they used so I could perhaps check out and use that same provider. After contacting ToT to obtain new service ToT refused to try and use the same line and ran a new one leaving the existing one there. Their reply was that it's just easier to run a new line.
  12. No alcohol but double the bong hits! Amen!!!!
  13. You should perhaps buy an expensive Tektronix o'scope and measure the ripple while at it..... ????
  14. I was going to say the same thing. I've seen too many cheap instruments providing wrong data. That is why I have two Fluke DVMs.
  15. Why? Because in the USA stores we don't have open bins of meat laying about so everyone can touch it all or sneeze all over it? I remember being at a Makro a few years back and while in the veggie & fruit section there was a girl enticing customers to try a sample of cut cantaloupe pieces. While her back was turned from the sample tray of cut pieces a small child (perhaps 4 or 5 years old) started touching and playing with all those sample pieces. After seeing that I was wondering why there was a need for the toothpicks on the tray. I won't mention where but I once bought some food (if I recall it was a pork and rice dish) at a popular food court. I still have a pic somewhere of a chunk of glass I found in the food. It wasn't a sharp jagged pieced but a chunk about the size of a 25 satang coin looking like it might have come from a soda bottle or such.
  16. Not sure what cuisine you fix at home but I'm not about to feed a half pan of lasagna or other great dishes to the dog. Besides I think that dishes like Lasagna, Beef Stroganoff, and Chicken Alfredo are better on the second go-around.
  17. What's the difference between the chits and the runs? The runs is when you make it.... ????
  18. They don't eat it. They lay their eggs on it.
  19. Duhhhhhhh, but you asked! "No Kidding?" If you didn't want it then refrain from asking.......simple

  21. I was taught, 'i' before 'e' except after 'c'... but that's not always true. My observations have always seen food that I would normally put in the fridge be left out for not just hours but at times days then be eaten without anyone getting sick. Stomachs are like concrete from eating bugs, uncooked intestines, and other unmentionables.
  22. I just wish Elon Musk would quit sending me emails.
  23. I'm looking for some recommendations for a blender to make fruit smoothies at home. Something that is not too expensive (less than 2k THB). Something that is durable and can crush ice. Something that is easy to clean. Not sure if there is a better forum to make this post but if so could a mod please move it for me. TIA
