  1. ...but implemented by this one, along with a reinterpretation of tax on foreign income.
  2. Don't see "through the nose" as a payment option. Strange, as it is a common way to in Thailand pay these days.
  3. No I don't, even though they could identify foreign non corporate remittances. YOU will be expected to turn up at RD to pay tax and they may become more proactive about ensuring that you do.
  4. You missed TM30 which many are dependent on a third party providing the documentation now needed for an extension.
  5. Tourists have other choices and Thailand is not as attractive as it used to be. The class of tourist that would swim rivers and fight bears to get here doesn't really have anything to do that for anymore. It is not cheap anymore- Thailand was about cheap/value for money INDULGENCE - whether it be the obvious or huge prawns/cheap spas and massages.
  6. This IMO they will tax you and it will be up to you to reclaim from them or your home country any exemption from treaties.
  7. They think they can do anything and foreigners will just stand for it.
  8. Could have been BJ overreaching the law, but he said they were in IDC awaiting deportment and visa offences were given as their "crime".
  9. Reading between the lines of the two non charged bikers in the murder case, living somewhere whilst having a TM30 and TM47 filed in another place is a deportable offence.
  10. https://www.uniqlo.com/th/th/products/E457445-000?colorCode=COL55&sizeCode=SMA006&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwoPFqbbjgQMVA3grCh2DyQTgEAEYASAEEgI7z_D_BwE probably have plain too. the trouble with lcal Thai "100% cotton" is that they can contain nylon/polyester - probably so they don't crease - they feel thermal in the heat
  11. 'Honest hookers are like square eggs - you just don't get them'. Japanese proverb.
  12. He got old and soft and she picked his locks. A 45 year old woman of that stripe is very tricky.
  13. Coz the "Thai" not "Foreigner" button is clicked?
  14. Yes, that is for re registering the property with supporting documents to continue filing online, BUT does it also mean file a new TM30? This we don't know methinks.
  15. Not completely sure of that as my hand filed TM30 was (*WAS*) in their database (albeit pre new site) and the TM30 online is really for hotels (and now Landlords).
  16. Likely some unfortunates will be processed before us and we should get some feedback on the process and at what point things are done - e.g. after what/when do they flag us in the Imm system for no exit. Leave ahead of that. I have problems paying taxes so that billionaires can use other peoples tax money to buy votes.
  17. I think you only have to reregister if you want to continue filing online?. Previously filed TM30's don't show up apparently, but are you sure you need to do a new TM30? If you have filed using a paper form dating back from 1979 I would guess that filing still stands.
  18. They treat us more like like criminals than tourists now - certainly not paying customers of Thailand.
  19. from memory the SWIFT instruction they must write/follow is "remit as currency".
  20. An alternative explanation is that they allowed you to files as "possessor" and thus file a TM30 which your Landlord wouldn't and which you now cannot many things without.
  21. This is what really annoys me about TM30. They make it OUR problem when someone else fails to comply with the law,
  22. One assumes their ultimate fate was to be eaten rather than kept as beloved pets.
