  1. Because unlike you. I am not perfect. Also I am unlike you. I am NOT and never will be, a supported nor a sycophant of a convicted felon, a convicted sex offender and a serial liar.
  2. Are both of the posts from you? If they are then that is why I quoted you. If they are not from you then your account may have been hacked.
  3. And was Trump, elected by the voters to be the candidate for the gop?
  4. And how do YOU know if he is sad or happy? I doubt that you have ever met him, nor lived with him, so how do you know if he is sad or happy?
  5. I am not so sure about that. The military faction that called the last coup under Prayuth no longer controls the military around Bangkok. The military there, wear red necked T shirts and are under the control of the highest person in Thailand. They are called, (for want of a better term, The King's Guards). and whilst they are part of the army, Their loyalty is not to the military, but to somebody else.
  6. Proof of most crimes help a lot. Do you have any?
  7. If you read the OP properly, the rumour (and that is all it is), actually came from a member of the democratic party in opposition, and not the PTP.
  8. I have just started with LibreOffice again, and I am trying to remember how to do it after a 4 or 5 year break.
  9. I am slowly converting my files from MS to Libre Office which I used to use before my old pc died, The pc I use now came with MS already installed.
  10. Thank you for a pleasant and sensible post, compared to a few posts on this thread.
  11. Currently the nearest railway station to me in rural Kamphaeng Phet, is at Nakhon Sawan 140km away. That means getting 6km to the big village (No public transport), catch the bus, change buses at Lat Yao 70 km away from the big village to get to Nakhon Sawan bus station. Catch another bus to the railway station about 10km out of town. The next nearest station is at Phitsanulok about 180 km away. I am 80, and that wont happen in my lifetime. My wife is 59 and it probably won't happen in her lifetime either.
  12. I would hope that it would apply to ALL Thai politicians, national and local. However I suspect an exception will be made for them.
  13. BTW where will the money come from?
  14. If you read the report carefully, the plan did NOT come from the PTP, but from the SRT and the NRDIT.
  15. According to the Bangkok Post a year ago the SRT cumulative debt was 230 Billion baht which has yet to be repaid. It seems as though the SRT wants to increase the network by 75%, buy new railway rolling stock. engines, carriages, probably new freight rolling stock, all made in Thailand. All this is a great idea and a wonderful plan. The big question is where will the money come from, firstly to pay off the existing debt, secondly and thirdly to pay for all the new staff that will be be required to run the new network.
  16. Does he need to be reminded of the claims that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction? At least he claims that they did.
  17. Why should they not pay? An EV on the road still contributes to the congestion, though the pollution it causes is generally made elsewhere at the generation site.
  18. No surprise there. He has never cared before either.
  19. 3 hours ago, Talon said: Truth is still truth, no matter who someone supports for POTUS. Unless you are Trump or a Trump supporter, and you don't want to believe the truth, then it is fake truth.
  20. And what was the name of the real guy, who really to a bullet for America and died for it? Does Corey Comperatore ring a bell with you? He was the guy who rook the bullet for America, and NOT Trump, who doesn't even have scar. I watched part of a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbgpXwGUFhM and then I dumped it when I saw Trump showing the retired fireman's uniform and kissing the fireman's helmet. Talk about self serving. Most people would have turned up and kept in the background. Trump HAS to make it about himself.
  21. It doesn't seem to show a Windows 64 bit option. I started the download changed to sown load language to English (British) and it reset the language to English (US) and still won't accept the 64 bit Windows download. Am I doing something wrong or missing something?
  22. So why did she order spicy in the first place? If I order s[icy food I just have a small taste first. If it is too spicy for me then i will say so and leave the food. When comes the time to pay the bill, I would pay it in full and explain to the wait staff, that it was my problem for ordering it in the first place. That is the blessing or the curse, of being born with common sense.
  23. Thank you for the update. I am glad that it turned out well for you.
  24. If you don't want to eat spicy food, it is probably not a good idea to go to a restaurant that serves spicy food. I have eaten Thai food in the UK, France and Germany and most of the food tastes completely different to the same dish in Thailand.
  25. And who will pay the running cost of such a service. The little things like staff salaries, the medications, the electricity and water bills. PPE for all the staff, ambulances etc. How many seats in each department, how many wheelchairs, Zimmer frames etc will be needed? How much medical equipment will be needed. Do you believe that all these things are free? Somebody will need to meet the cost because AFAICS, nothing is free nowadays.
