I am registered with the Thai local hospital and they charge 50 thb for the doctors fee and the stamp.

Thank you. I have tried this link and also messaged the government computer online and ended up in a circle with the message telling me to call a government phone number on Monday ro Friday from 8am to 6pm UK time. I opened a self assessment Gateway account about 20 years ago which has not been used for at least 10 years and I have no record of the ID or password or even the email account that I used back then. I have searched my 3 email accounts and they all came up with the computer equivalent of "Duh". I will try again later in the week and see if any human people work at the DWP.
-
Thank you. I used to have a self assessment account years ago but after replacing my pc a couple of times all the details are lost somewhere in cyber space.
-
Are you using the app, and if so, is it on your smart phone or on your pc? I want to load it onto my pc, but I have no idea how to do it.
-
I suppose it is possible. IF the DWP stops wasting time and money on postage and sends an email to each individual with a copy of the Life Certificate, allows the return by email and confirms the receipt of the form by email. There is a lot of ifs there.
-
It came as a separate sheet of paper with the proof of Life certificate. Oddly enough it was the 1 sheet out of 10 that I didn't scan. However here it is.

Thai Airways Upgrades Fleet with Eight New Airbus A321neos

What a surprise. On 1st February I received a request for a life certificate from the Ministry of Defence. Today, 1 week later I got another, this time from the DWP wanting confirmation of the same details and checking to see that I am still alive. The difference is that I can email the MoD with a scanned copy of the form but the DWP want their copy sent back by airmail. I do however have 16 weeks from 06 January 2025 to return it by. They also want to go paperless and tell me that I can download their app, open an account and do away with all the paperwork. This is not much use as the app only works on a smart phone and not on my pc which is where I want it.

No surprise from that poster at all. It is his usual line of defence when people criticise his posts. -
4 Israeli men fined for causing chaos at hospital in Mae Hong Son

They should have been fined a minimum of 30,000 baht for each offence, jailed for 2 months consecutively on each offence and then deported and banned from Thailand for life. -
Trump’s Bold Proposal to End Gaza’s Cycle of Suffering
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Don't forget to put Netanyahu, his war criminal cabinet and all the top IDF generals on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity as well. That won't happen either as neither Israel nor the USA are signatories to the ICC. (I wonder why not?) -
The Kings Guard loyalty is t he King only. The army's loyalty is to themselves and to the king in name only. The main army is side lined.
-
I very much doubt it. Military coups in Thailand usually start in Bangkok. The army in Bangkok is controlled now by the Kings Guard whose loyalty is to someone much higher than the army commanders, (who by the way also profess loyalty to the King). So to plan and execute a successful military coup the Army will first have to eliminate the Kings Guard, and I don't think that there are any generals who are not in the Kings Guard, that can order and are brave enough to successfully run a military coup. I could well be wrong, but I don't think that I am.

Trump’s mad, mad, mad, mad world—now with extra madness
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in World News
And for that you can only blame the person standing next to Trump, who is of course Netanyahu. Get rid of him and all his murderous war cabinet and there may, just may be a chance of peace. -
Perhaps because he was a victim of yet another illegal military coup. A military coup that was never accepted by the Thai people, that stole, yet again the entire country including the courts and the judiciary, for that crime of treason against the state, and have NEVER yet been punished. Now he is back following an election in which the PTP came second, but the PP could NOT form a government, so quite legally PTP managed to form a coalition government. The party which the generals formed performed failed miserably but are still out in the wilderness somewhere complaining how unfair life is. Perhaps you forget that Thaksin is the only PM who has lasted the 4 year life of a parliament and at the second election won the popular vote with an overall majority vote. Something that NO other legally elected PM has ever done.

This is what Wikipedia has to say about Tantura including some photos, and even Israelis were not believed when they tried to spread the news. Tantura was attacked on the night of 22–23 May 1948, Tantura was attacked by the 33rd Battalion of the Alexandroni Brigade part of the Haganah o the Israeli army. However Haganah itself was a proscribed terrorist organisation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haganah Haganah (Hebrew: הַהֲגָנָה ha-Haganah, lit. 'The Defense')[a] was the main Zionist paramilitary organization that operated for the Yishuv in the British Mandate for Palestine.[2] It was founded in 1920 to defend the Yishuv's presence in the region, and was formally disbanded in 1948, when it became the core force integrated into the Israel Defense Forces shortly after the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

People’s Party wins key Lamphun election victory
billd766 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I don't need luck in battles. At 80 I am too old to fight or even tilt at windmills. IMHO the PP need to take a good look at all its policies and its leadership, keep the best bits, dump the rest, build up its war chest and start again. -
Pheu Thai Dominates Provincial Elections with Bhumjaithai Trailing
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
And how many Thais have you personally interviewed to reach that conclusion? If the PP voters were so great why did they not win more or even all the seats at the recent PAO election. Bear in mind that they have had over a year since the last general election to regroup, regather and reform since that time. Not only did the PTP win 17 seats, the BJT won 12. yet the PP could only win one seat. -
Thank you for that link Eric, but sadly I feel it will make no difference in the end. Those that support Israel and the USA will never change. They will always believe that ALL Palestinians are simply Hamas supporters, and are nothing but untermensch that have to be completely exterminated by the most moral army (Netanyahu's words and not mine) in the world. They don't seem to have the sense to understand that for every Palestinian man, woman, boy, girl or baby they indiscriminately kill another will take their place, as a so called "terrorist" now or as they grow up in the future, assuming that they survive.

Trump’s Proposal for Gazan Relocation makes perfect sense
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
Under Trump and Netanyahu it will NOT be voluntary. What will happen if the Palestinians refuse to go? Will they be forced to go? How do you force 2 million people to leave the country where they and their ancestors have lived all their lives? Which countries will take them in and pay for them for generations? Neither the USA nor Israel could afford to do that. -
He won't accept that as the information does not come from official Israeli sources, but from the Hamas sources who are actually working on the ground in the aftermath of the Israeli strikes, taking the dead and wounded to the few remaining working hospital, which the Israelis bomb and shell also. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see what is happening on a daily basis. Thank you for a good intelligent link to read.

Being kicked out of office after yet another illegal military coup, (that nobody got punished for), being charged by a court under military control. Perhaps it should be you that needs to wake up.
