Trump Shrugs Off Potential EU Ban on U.S. Food Imports
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Another one? Perhaps the USA is no longer the promised land, and perhaps Trump is no longer the messiah he claimed to be. Well he was voted into power, and those that voted for him may start to regret that decision soon. -
Trump Shrugs Off Potential EU Ban on U.S. Food Imports
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It won't hurt Trump either, as ALL his bills will be covered by the US taxpayers, so why should he care what the price is? He doesn't even care about the US taxpayers or the US citizens in general. -

Says a poster who lives in NZ where many of the population are leaving for other countries. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ce8j88gym3ro Meanwhile, people are moving out of the country in record numbers. Official figures show that there were nearly 130,000 departures last year - though that was offset by the arrival of nearly 160,000 immigrants. "New Zealanders are voting with their feet, leaving in record high numbers," Labour MP Barbara Edmonds wrote on X on Monday. "Is their real tourism plan 'Everyone Must Go' - for Kiwis?"

That may be a good idea though where Starmer thinks he can find extra troops from I have no idea. Troops on the ground isn't simply a bunch of fighting men, it is all the logistical back up that is required. Vehicles and their support, cooks and their support, medics and their support, suppliers and their support, fuel, oil, lubricants and their support, artillery, ammunition and their support, tanks and their support. If you include aircraft and helicopters, they will also need similar support. The supply chain will run all the way from the UK to the Ukraine and most of it will need wheeled transport to get it there. Politicians are very good with their promises, but rarely back things up when push comes to shove. At a rough guess, for every fighting soldier there will probably be 6 or 7 support troops so to put 1,000 infantry soldiers into the field may require perhaps another 7,000 support troops and a supply chain maybe 1,500 km long. The supply chain is also part of Russia problem as it stretches from the Ukraine to the far side of Moscow.

Yes, but why would the Daily Wail let facts get in the way of a story. The Daily Wail shows a picture of a Thai Boeing 747 with a crack in the right windscreen, even though Thai does not use Boeing 747s, yet the Bangkok Post yesterday, said that the aircraft was an Airbus A320 series with a crack in the left windscreen. https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/THA401 However this link says it was a Aircraft Information Aircraft Type Boeing 787-8 (twin-jet) (B788) Photos Airline Information Airline Thai Airways "Thai" all flights

Please don't feed the troll. Put him on ignore and starve him of a response.

And close it behind themselves, quietly.

The problem is not of his personal making. but that of ALL UK politicians going back decades. Cut the size of ALL the military branches and at the same time increase the commitments that the service people have to do. It is also the responsibility of ALL the service chiefs for NOT speaking out in support of the troops and not resigning on protest. Don't talk to the chiefs, but talk to the troops instead and keep the bean counters away from ANY increase in costs. Then try to recruit a 20% increase across ALL branches per year for at least 3 years to build a fully trained military. Do NOT commit the troops to suit any vanity project.

Taiwan Labels Thailand as High-Risk Travel Destination
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thailand probably IS a safe country to travel to. However there are many places that tourists go to which are not as safe as other places, at the wrong time of day or night. -

TBH Sandy, it is just 2 agents on FB only in Pattaya. Nothing has been released (that I have seen or read from Immigration and if I were to believe everything posted on FB I doubt if I would ever leave my house. Instead of posting unsubstantiated rumours from FB, it is better as you say, to wait and see IF anything official pops up. If there was an Olympic event called "Jumping to Conclusions" there are a few posters on AN who would be vying for first place.

Georgetown Student Revealed as Daughter of Senior Hamas Adviser

Why not do a simple internet search of the word "bile". I will give you a clue, I did not mean the word in its medical term. As for the rest of your post, you just proved my point. -
Consorting with a war criminal ,does trump care ?
billd766 replied to 3NUMBAS's topic in Political Soapbox
Neither the USA or Israel are signatories to the ICC, (what a surprise) so it doesn't really matter to either of them. Of course if Netanyahu's aircraft had to make a forced landing due to an aircraft emergency in a signatory's country, it may be a different matter. -
